We gettin' a new theme? Whats wrong with this one? :o
What's wrong with getting a new theme?
Probably a new theme would be more compliant with the changes that @Senpai would be planning to implement in the future.
Fair enough.
Perhaps its because I'm new, but I just really like the current theme. It's got this unique feel to it. I haven't really seen anything like this theme on other boards, as they all seem to fit a similar aesthetic convention. Nothing wrong with a new theme, I just like this one quite a bit, and it'll be sad to see it go I suppose.
The new theme is being made as Loko said, to be a lot easier to build stuff into.
Don't worry about the new theme not being unique, as it's being made completely from scratch, with none of the default mybb layout being used in any of the templates.
There's a thread about the new theme here. :3
