Hum. Don't watch movies all too often but off the top of my head i'd have to say Rainman and The Man from Nowhere. Really liked the acting in Rainman, it felt very genuine. The man from No Where was pretty nice as well.
Oh and John Wick.
I can't choose favorites for the life of me. If I want to keep it recent, I loved The Grand Budapest Hotel and Inside Out. I feel like there's a really good movie I loved that's eluding me right now, but I'll add it to the post if I remember.
I really should watch Inception.

Rainman is a fantastic film, and I absolutely fucking love The Man from Nowhere and John Wick. Great choices.
Toy Story. Sounds childish, but that movie means a lot to me.
My favourite is definitely True Romance, but Léon: The Professional is a very close second.
Fight Club is probably my favorite, but the new The Martian movie is up there as well.
1926 Lucy
okay sorry but no, that movie is literally watching a girl get high for an hour. when I saw this was about when I stopped watching movies. it was just that bad.
Interstella 5555 was a pretty good movie, and there was no dialogue. dope soundtrack, too.
Seven Samurai
It's really hard to pick a favorite so.. A random one that I like a lot is Anna Karenina
The Fast and the Furious. (judging intensifies) Edit: Limitless too. I really cant pick sides.
I really enjoyed "Her", especially how pretty it was. "The Hunt" is definitely up there too, as can be expected of glorious Mads Mikkelsen in his native tongue. I'm not great at remembering the impact of films though, so there maybe others that I'd deem superior if I'd seen them more recently.
I thought a lot about my previous answer (Jagten), and I have to update it.
I was always choosing Jagten or Blade Runner as my favorite movie, but the latter takes the cake.
Animated movies are more into my likes. Pixar's movies have some of my favorites.
Stepbrothers.
Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sal%C3%B2,_or_the_120_Days_of_Sodom
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (together with Interstellar, inception, fight club, shawshank redemption, memento, batman movies, tarantino movies, etc)

I just wanted let you know I watched last life in the universe because I recognized the guy in the video you linked and it was such a great film I wanted to thank you for sharing it.
Vanilla Sky Gattaca The Secret of Nimh All Dogs Go To Heaven Iron Giant Beauty and the Beast Frozen
I like animated films more.
Princess Mononoke, but does it count as a movie, or an anime?
