Interstellar I think is a good movie to watch with some drink, though I usually skip the first third or so of the movie. I skip ahead to when the Endurance takes off because up to then it's just boring exposition and plot-convenience, the actual story starts when they take off into space. Still, I recommend it.
Haywire is another one that I like. Gina Carano, Ewan Mcgregor. It's a realistic spy movie like the Bourne movies, but with alot more style and pizzazz, with a cool, jazzy soundtrack. I love it, but maybe it's just because really I'm a bigger fan of Gina Carano (for the obvious reasons).
I've discovered that Black Sea is a very good drinking movie, but maybe it's just because I really love submarines. Jude Law playing a heavy Scottish accent, check it out, it's a really, really good movie.
One Hour Photo I just discovered not too long ago, but I've watched it many, many times in just the few months I've known it, it's a good drinking movie for me too.
And The Prestige, something about that movie just holds my attention for the full length of the movie, it can keep me drinking longer than most movies.
I've only watched Oblivion once before and it was in theaters, so I don't really know if it's a good drinking movie or not, but I highly suspect that it will be, I recently acquired it so I'll find out soon enough. Tom Cruise and the very beautiful Olga Kurylenko in a very original recent scifi movie, great special effects and visuals.
