Given the topic at hand, I feel almost as if I'm necroposting.
That said though, I'll say this: I almost pity that kid. Being a celebrity, even for a few weeks, is a massive pain since everyone scrutinizes your every move for better or for worse. What's more, for the rest of his life he's gonna be known as that clock-bomb kid, and no one will ever look at him the same again. Furthermore, nothing he ever does will measure up to that moment in the limelight; forever will he live in the shadow of his own monument.
At least, that's the worst case. The most likely scenario is that people will completely forget after a month or so and he'll live a normal rest of his life. Honestly, I hope that's the case. Fame can fuck with your head.
