I am very rarely, and I can't stress this enough, very rarely surprised in a pleasant way when a new forum pops up. This is because all forums these days tend to be about General Discussion and while that is nice, I always lurk around for more specific niches to spend my time with. I've been lurking around for a forum with the anime/manga niche for some time now and a few have come to my attention, sadly all of them turn out bad and look directly displeasing to the eye. Hence why this forum was such a pleasant surprise, a forum with the niche I am looking for and it doesn't look terrible either. (Don't get me wrong, there is room for improvement.) Though without further amazement by me, I will go ahead and introduce myself to you'all.
Hello again! My name is Bird!
To start it off simple, I am 18 years old, born and raised in Norway by a mom who tends to favor her own interests over me and my sister's. From an early age I grew into liking several things, and that nested me few (but great) friends, though I never swayed from my path. The things I took interest in were anime, manga and games alike. As most people I was introduced into the world of anime by the popular series Pokemon, and a slightly less popular series, Digimon. Years went passed and I kept on watching series and in the end settled with a very popular series, Naruto as my all time favorite series.
Now before you make an attempt on my life for remotely liking Naruto, let me share with you a little secret. Everyone has different opinions and while I treasure Naruto greatly, I can see the faults in it and I also love other series such as Fullmetal Alchemist and Hellsing. Over the years my interest in gaming has also increased greatly, and these days I spend my time playing Playstation 4 and wait for new games to arrive. I have a thirst for difficult games and games that have a story that just takes me away on my own little cloud of heaven. Other than those hobbies, I love art, always have. About 5-6 years ago I ended up picking up Graphical art and design and now all those years later I have 5 years of experience and 2 years of education within that topic.
