A handful of you know that I'm currently working on making a game. It's getting closer to the time I can actually release the demo, and I'm super excited ^ / super stressed ^^;;
I decided that since it is so close, to release, and I can theoretically keep a steady flow of information going, I would start documenting my progress.
My game is a "choose your own adventure" style visual novel. The DEMO is about 144 pages in total, but it's set up much like a comic book , so its not 144 pages of solid text or anything (geez that would suck!) Also, due to the nature of there being multiple paths, you won't visit all 144 pages on a single play through/read through. Being as it is set up like a comic book, there's a much stronger visual aspect to my game over the standard viz-novels. While I may have fewer "CG cut scenes," my game wont be 90% comprised of still character portraits with blocks of text laid beneath them.
I needed to create a flow chart to keep track of the many paths that you can take during the story. This is a picture of it. Keep in mind, this only shows the demo's flow chart. The demo only covers roughly 1/12 of the entire story, so imagine a flow chart 12 times bigger and that's closer to how big the real one would be.
