How do all of you find the time to watch so much anime? I am personally a huge fan of anime and all, but I find it impossible to ever watch it between work, school and my personal life; I just watch it when I can find the time for it. So, I was wondering -- How do you find the time to watch a lot of anime? Is anyone else in a similar situation as me ?

Lokorfi wrote For me, I simply ignore homework for a few hours and bingewatch episodes. But that's during the school term. In summer, I just watch it over every few days. It's funny how much more active I am in watching anime when I'm supposed to be focusing on schoolwork. Perhaps it is because anime can work as a stress reliever; school work can stress you out, and anime can de-stress you (or at least distract you). You are probably just trying to get your mind off the stress of a student's life by distracting yourself with other things. Just a hunch.

Since I finished school and it's summer I am watching anime back to back. But I mostly just sit and read manga. lol

I miss sitting around and doing nothing (gaming, anime, etc.) Enjoy it while it lasts! Lokorfi wrote Sai wrote Lokorfi wrote For me, I simply ignore homework for a few hours and bingewatch episodes. It's probably how I passed most of my exams (just barely.) I wouldn't feel bad about it, I did it too and probably will again.

Lose a few hours of sleep. Loosing 2 hours of sleep a night, you can get through a normal series in 2 days.

I disregard my life. My friends (that I know personally), my family, the only people I have contact with are my girlfriend, my gecko, and the people I talk to online. Between that time is anime, programming, working on my computer, or whatever else I find to take up my time.

Yeah, I don't really watch that much anime. When I do watch it, it goes as follows....  I go to the gym, come home, have a protein shake and re-hydrate while watching 1 - 2 episodes.  Or, I get done with work, feel too tired to go to the gym, get a shower, watch 1-3 episodes while drinking my sorrows away.  Now take anime and replace it with video games, and that's also how I get any play time in.

Hosnetly, I never had time for anime and kept watching it until finally been watching it for years and got now nothing to watch but read light novels/manga and watch ongoing anime.

It's simple. Just use school time, relax time, and your sleep time.

Best thing to do, watch anime all the day without sleeping, and when u go to school, sleep in class, I didnt even feel we had school, and just return home to watch anime, I did that for few days though, and stopped, you probably know why I stopped, don't even need to explain xD FukuchiChiisaia wrote It's simple. Having no job for 99% of my life. (At least im honest)

How do you find the time?

numba34

By staying up really late and not finding time for my other hobbies :/
One day my lifestyle is going to bite me back in the ass.

Usuka

I haven't been watching much recently, skipped the entire summer season acctually...
But when I do watch, I don't really make time for it.
I do everything else during the day and binge watch a series at a time when I should be sleeping.
Makes for interesting mornings and lots of coffee

PotatoVodka

It usually digs into when I'm supposed to be sleeping or am blowing off other responsibilities that don't pay me.

Sai

I literally can't even watch anime at this point in my life between school and work every day.
I basically leave my house at 07:00 and return after 21:00.

SushiFeelings

Depends if I have a good amount of free time I usually just watch an anime until I get bored of it or finish it. Another way to do it is by attempting to watch an episode a day for a show you're interested in. You can't really find time to do things you have to make it.

Squid

I work 12 hour shifts and about 6 of those hours I have free so I watch animu

tftp

I usually end up having to watch anime late at night because it usually takes me a 4-5 hours of being in a vegatative state after my wage slave hours before I can focus on anything again. I think I have a serious focus problem

I work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I always turn on my computer before going to work and I left downloading 2 or 3 anime series with bitorrent. In my work I have internet and I download animes or games, when is time to go home I burn the files in DVDs. When I arrive home my bitorrent have downloaded 2 or 3 animes.
I just watch animes from 7pm to 12pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays if I not go out I play games or marathon animes.
This style of life give me more anime to watch and a lot of DVDs burning rituals every night.
