Hopping aboard the idle games hype, seems like the Sakura series released a game called Sakura Clickers - which is basically a clicker game with anime waifus. It's free on Steam , if you want to give it a try. [spoiler]Honestly, I'll stick to Clicker Heroes for now until I get 100% achievements, then maybe I'll give it a shot.[/spoiler] On a somewhat related note, since idle games are a popular topic, what would you think of an idle games general thread?

Currently downloading this, and I'm already eyeing off that DLC. An idle games general thread would be nice. c:

I think an idle game community would be inactive and stagnant stealth pun . Really though, even though they aren't my cup of tea, it seems like a nice idea and a good way to share them ^^

free on steam cosmetic dlc for 1 euro each To me it looks like cutting coupons off the successful product and trying to milk it even more using the system that everybody knows about. Or, like a rather clever advertisement for their other games with unnecessary paid content. At any rate, I'm not sure what to think of it. Idle games are popping here and there on a daily basis now, and each one promises something innovative... that I don't really buy. I liked Clicker Heroes for the premise, ascending and shit, AdVenture Capitalist had some sort of mechanism to it as well, but on neither of those have I ever reached the insanity that original Cookie Clicker provided me with. Honestly, is there anything better than evil grandmas trying to take over the world? In this genre? I doubt so. Hit me up if somebody creates the game that will drive me for hours and hours when I'm doing nothing. Like the original Cookie Clicker. Or Kantai Collection, even though I don't understand shit, it's fun.
