Not anymore. Last night was just a weird hormonal roller coaster it seems. Friends in discord helped me get through it :D

Thank goodness! I was quite worried for a while there. Are you sure you're okay?

Sad. But I am eating icecream to cope.

Happy, relieved. I don't know, what's a good word to capture the feeling of finally getting better after an awful illness?

These allergies totally blindsided me, though... One sip, and two hours later my entire body was exploding in pain. I swear I'll never touch beer, wine, or any kinda spirits after that. >_<

Is that the first time you've ever had any alcohol? Or is it maybe a reaction with your meds? Either way, I'm glad you're feeling better again ^_^

I'm pretty out of it thanks to my migraine, so I'm not sure how much I can convey. But I'm pretty happy with myself for finally setting up a dual-system in my PC case. It's still unfineshed, so I'll post pics when I get it done, someday...

    I'm really tired, though. =w=

Thaanks love~. The hard part's done, but I'm not in a hurry. Especially since my thoughts while browsing have gone from "Man, I wish I had a quieter graphics card", to, "Man, I wish I could buy the mouse my perfectly-functional Chinese knockoff is based off. Maybe then, I could sync it up with MSI's shitty Mystic Light software". I'm sure you know the feel. ^^'7

    Restless. Yesterday I handed in my final seminar paper for this semester. After a stressful couple of weeks I suddenly don't know what to do with my free time... ^_^;

Good idea! I don't think I'll go out today, but I guess I'll at least open one or two beers

Tired. Happy though. I had to use double my current dose of emergency meds, but my migraines appear to finally have receded after a rough start to the week. Now to just keep this up...

I've always found the best way to handle free time is to ease into it bit by bit. Start by doing the things you wanted to do while studying. Play some games or listen to some music, or finish that interesting e-documentary you never got to complete. After that, the sky's the limit, honestly. ^^

Ah, but waitasec! "Final seminar"... Does that mean you're finished with university? :D

Yeah, I started the day with playing some Team Fortress 2. Haven't played it in ages, but it's nice to see that I still got some skills left. I used to play it competetively all throughout high school.

"Final seminar for this semester" :) I'm nearing completion of my Masters though. Got two exams left in April and then one more lecture next semester + Masters thesis, so I should be finished around October/November.

Professors keep telling me I should do a PhD afterwards, but I'm not sure yet. The Masters was already pretty stressful and I want to start earning some money... ^_^ Well, I'll have to make some decisions in the coming months.

Well, I was getting better a week ago. But now, in some sort of sick, selfish way, it feels like the world's conspiring against my happiness.

Oh my, a PhD! That would be cool, but... it does require the motivation to be able to work on the same thing constantly for years. That's why I personally didn't even consider doing one >~<

Well, it's five days after complaining that I feel "restless" and I am already in full on potato mode ^__^
  • LucianDreamer 03-16-2020, 07:05 PM
This new virus thing is already beginning to disrupt my normal life and routine into "hygiene control mode", it actually waits for me very patiently to break down psychologically and emotionally so that it can start invading my immune system right where it hurts. The same could be said for the economies of this world, it waits for us to come outside and fight for whatever resources we got when the money sinks in fast enough for a global depression declaration so that the virus can take hold of affected countries. This virus is like a present-day smart player comparable to that of the Middle Ages' bubonic plague, and is not screwing around despite the UN's stressing of the word "pandemic" declaration.

COVID-19 can knock me around on the sidelines it wants, but it will not get in the way of my sheer willpower and family support on my side. It has not even got near my county yet. I had faced previous scenarios with Swine, influenza, fevers and even whooping/hacking coughs at some point over the years, but my body should at least be tolerant enough to kick COVID-19 right in the shell despite the no guarantee option. This very soul within me is too precious to corrupt, because it can recognize these familiar mild symptoms.

I already tripled my isolation efforts to hunker down as with @Yuu, but I can't be sure how long this waiting game the virus been lurking around is going to take.
  • Backlash 03-28-2020, 07:06 PM
Feeling better than I have in the past few weeks, honestly. I became very depressed spending most (usually all) of my day at home, but I think I'm finally content in this isolation. It's still hard to find things, and virus outbreaks keep cropping up all around me, but I should be safe if I stick at home and order everything through the postal service.

i'm tired and stressed because my workload has decidedly tripled thanks to professors believing taking classes online means more stuff to just shove on my desk and be done with it
