What player do you use for playing your anime episodes?

Which video player do you use for watching your downloaded anime? I usually use mpv media player and SMPlayer on Linux. When I used Windows 7, I was using the MPC-HC player with Kawaii Codec Pack (KCP).

VLC with CCCP is a good choice, in my opinion, seeing how it ran the Blu-Ray quality of Final Fantasy Advent Children VII with ease on my friend's PC even though his PC was dumber than my Windows. VLC's also available on Linux but I prefer mpv since it has better rendering, plus stuff that even MadVR couldn't play properly works great (*^*).

You don't download and watch anime? Dailymotion's pretty cool for streaming, I know right. I prefer it more than Youtube for Anime episodes.

MPC-HC is really the best player for Anime. You should get KCP if you haven't got that. Its a codec pack for MPC-HC that configures it fully for anime so that even FFVII:Advent Children runs with no problem on my retarded PC xD. Seriously, watched over 150+BD quality anime and never had a single problem.

MPV is a must. If on Windows I also prefer MPC-HC :)
  • Clannad 10-04-2015, 11:35 PM
I watch my animes on Crunhyroll and/or FUNimation. If the anime I seek isn't available on either app, I go to kissanime.com.
  • Blood Lust 10-05-2015, 12:21 AM
    I use kissanime.com or twist.moe
  • Sad Puppy 10-05-2015, 02:07 AM
It's rare that I actually download it, but if I do, then I use VLC media player.
VLC is like, the greatest of the greatest, with a little great on top.

    MPHC w/ KCP.
  • Compa 11-22-2015, 06:00 PM
I haven't needed to download videos of any kind for years, since streaming is so plentiful now. If I do end up having to hunt down a download that isn't available to stream, I'll usually watch it in Windows Media Player or Quicktime depending on the file format requirements. I'm not very good with codecs and the like so I try not to mess with the settings on that too much unless I absolutely have to in order to get a video to work.

As for my streaming sites, I'll just list them by order of priority below:

    1. Crunchyroll
    2. MoeTube
    3. KissAnime
    4. AnimeFrost
    5. DubzOnline
