What games do you revisit or replay?

What games, if any, do you revisit or replay often?  I usually pick on people who are too in love with retro games, but even I have my old school guilty pleasure.

My game is Star Ocean: The Second Story.
It's flippin' amazing!  There are like 16 playable characters, all of whom are not available on a single play through, but all of whom are great! It also boasts 50+unique character endings!
I bought this game twice on PS1 and I just bought it again on PSP (a slightly updated version.)

This game has a god-tier combat system. The special moves (of which there are over 100) each have animations that "evolve" as you continue to use them. The drastic visual changes are something I have not seen repeated even in later entries of the series.  The game truly stands out on its own.

I constantly revisit Mount & Blade: Warband; can't wait for M&B 2 to come out.

STAR
OCEAN
Somebody's got a gooooood taste.

Myself I constantly revisit Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, Gods Eater Burst, Persona 3 Portable and occassionally Growlanser. All of them on the PSP. ^_^ And, if I'm really bored, I just replay Okami or Shadow of the Colossus.

I often go back to the Kingdom Hearts series, mainly the second one. There's something satisfying with fighting all the way to the final boss, and collecting everything that could possibly be collected.

Also fuck you Donald.

I always go back to the Fallout series, from the 1st Fallout all the way to New Vegas really. I really enjoy playing them.

I've been meaning to revisit them for a while, they're all really good games.

I usually replay one of the Bioshock games every few months. Absolutely amazing games.

Zelda & Final Fantasy
Idk how many times I've replayed the games in those franchises.
Well- Not the earlier FF games, but 7 - 13 c:

My fave Zelda game has to be Twilight Princess and my fave FF game has to be the 9th one! :D
FF9

much hd such wow
It's too bad that my FF9 discs are absolutely destroyed from me playing it so much. ;^; I might try to hunt down another copy of the game. c:
(I love them so much because they're childhood games for me).

Edit: Right now I'm actually playing FF13-2. I bought it but never played it that much until just recently. I want to finish 13-2 so I can go onto 13-3. :)
It's not the best game in the series, but I enjoy playing it, so that's all that matters really.

I've been told this for a while already, but I still can't bring myself to play Fallout. Send help.

Oh and yeah, I completely forgot to include Need For Speed: Most Wanted (the original one) in my last post. This game rocked.

Need for Speed Carbon (I've beaten that game to the point I lost track)

Need for Speed Most Wanted (Original)

Call of Duty World at War

Destiny of Spirits (though the game will never start... :''''(''''')

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Campaign

Forza Motorsport 4

@Nanashi you've changed your profile... I like the way it was before... Just so you know that's all...

Did I mention Final Fantasy 12? Final Fantasy 12 was the first and possibly only Final Fantasy game I will ever truly enjoy. Something about the story, the art, and the combat make me so invested in it to the point where I even tried to emulate it (sorta worked)and eventually try and play it on my PS2 plugged into my HDTV with the two most worthless controllers on earth (did NOT work.)

Anyways yes, highly recommend it, probably the reason why I'm into the whole dystopian fantasy kind of shit.

Whenever I buy a new game I fiddle with it for a while and then go back to Nuclear Throne and Skullgirls.

I'm about to start playing Nintendo 64 again lol.
I want to finish star fox and a few other games I own.
• suicid3Panda 08-27-2015, 02:25 AM
@Nanashi *high five* I can't go on enough about how much I LOVE Star Ocean! and @Happiness is right, Fallout 3 was my Game of the Generation for PS3/360 ERA. I have over 400 hours into that game. It's nothing like Star Ocean, but I adore it! Also your signature is awesome because it has my name in it just like @senpai <3  Also, I should really play P# Portable... I beat the original, but I wanna play as the girl.
@None_At_All praise be to Skullgirls

Ahhh! Star Ocean 5!!!

Guilty Gear games, usually.
• numba34 09-16-2015, 09:24 PM
I find myself replaying the mass effect series quite often, and I always replay my visual novels until I get 100%.
I find myself playing AA2 a fair bit (it's not really replaying as there is no real end to the game).
• mis 09-17-2015, 02:02 AM
Fallout and Star Ocean are a definite plus. I sometimes replay Fire Emblem, and I like replaying this one old GBA game called Dokapon.

Diablo II, I've played it every year for 15 years and still love it. My friends and I have a small tradition of playing it for a couple of months every summer, it's not the same as when I was a kid, but we still manage to have a lot of fun every year.
• Loko 09-19-2015, 09:56 AM
Ever since I started Hacknet (the official release this time) a few days ago, I've found it enjoyable enough to play a couple more times. It's a really investing game imo.

I remember picking up Star Ocean, The First Departure for PSP and liking it so much that I beat it within 2 weeks. (I poured basically all of my free time not working/sleeping into it.)
I've got P3P on my Vita now, since I played and liked Persona 4: Golden. I'm also a somewhat-casual fan of Disgaea.

When I'm more bored I'll revisit SNES era games via pc emulator, such as Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy 2, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and more.

Love the turboschway storyline and the mechanics.

Final Fantasy X (not as much because I hate unskippable cutscenes) Final Fantasy XII (<3), Dead Rising 2, Tales of Symphonia and Resonance of Fate. If fightan gaemz count, then those too lol.

I revisit games with these characteristics:

1-Games with many things to collect, good action and good music like: Castlevania series, the Symphony of the Night and the Nintendo DS are my favorites
2-Games with a interesting atmosphere like: Blood (pc) and Quake 1 these games are a masterclass in how to make a creepy atmosphere and are really challenging with interesting levels and enemies.
3-Games with good story and good art like all the Vanillaware games: GrimGrimoire , Odin Sphere and Muramasa the Demon Blade. These games are a love letter to 2D art and how to write a interesting characters.
