I thought I'd create my first thread on here, so I figured it ought to be a positive one.

    ITT:

Post the small things in life which makes you happy and/or that you cherish.
    I'll start:

    > Eating delicious spicy food until your face starts sweating

    > Taking a long, warm bath after having walked in chilling rain
    > Being able to sit with your best friends and enjoy doing nothing in particular
    > Hitting shuffle on your iPod and the exact tune you subconsciously wanted to hear comes on
    > Finding money you've completely forgotten about in your winter coat when winter comes

Biking in the early morning before the work rush, when the bike lanes are completely free. That ususally enables me to ride as fast as I wish.

Putting on a warm pair of socks fresh out of the dryer.

The satisfying CLACKCLACKCLACK of a fine mechanical keyboard.

No-scope AWP kills, or any other completely by luck skillshot.

Girls with bags under their eyes.

    > Sipping coffee or the while sitting in the quiet by myself reading
    > Taking a sip of "good" beer while sitting down to watch anime or play games
    > Realizing the blood didn't get all over this time
    > Taking a nice hot bath instead of a shower after a run

Dropping a duce you held in all day.
Shaving your legs for the first time and feeling the silkyness (this is probably just a me thing).
Falling asleep and dreaming of napping with that someone you love.
Saying silly things to comfort others.
Laying in bed, covered up and watching netflix in the most comfy position possible.
Finding a good light novel/manga and bingereading it all night.

Leaving the window open si it gets cold and then getting really warm under the sheets.

    Wearing scarves.

    Organized, commented code.

Manga or novel series put in order, fitting perfectly in terms of height and format.

    Family puns.

Getting a good writing flow going.

    Pastel color schemes.

Getting home and lying down and playing visual novels/watching anime for hours on ends until late in the morning.
Cooking some lasagna and eating it while watching anime.
Daydreaming about nice and comfy things.
    Painting/drawing.
Spending hours on end mixing music and getting lost in the rhythm.

Listening to a song that's moving enough to make you tear up

Getting a surprise A in a test exam

Being able to bring friends around and play video games, just having a chill day

Congrats! You managed to make dinner taste good tonight!

The feeling of finishing that project you procrastinated on for a month

When your teacher forgets you had homework and your butt is saved

Drying your cat with a towel when it comes in from the pissing rain

Snuggling with said cat infront of the fireplace in winter

Being able to see the cold air when you breath in winter

Watching the cherry blossoms begin to fall

Sitting on a bench where said blossoms are falling

    Watching leaves begin to fall

Being able to hold hands with a special someone

    A new year begins

    Repeat
  • Loko 09-19-2015, 09:28 PM
As evident of today, having a friend at my house is a comforting feeling.

    > leaving the window open at night so it gets cold and then getting really warm under the sheets.
plus wearing an onesie and it gets super comfy :3

    > cuddling with my cat for hours

very calming, especially when she is laying on my chest

    > listening to music and chilling in bed all day

    > drinking tea and warming up at a fireplace in winter, while cuddling into as many pillows and blankets as possible
    > chill with friends at the lake
  • Em. 09-20-2015, 01:30 PM
I'm jealous over you guys having fireplaces in your homes! Do want.
  • Usuka 09-24-2015, 10:12 PM
Cuddling with your dog while watching anime in the winter.
Wrapping yourself in warm clothes straight out of the drier.
    A nice soup.
Old yellowy streetlights in the fog.
Chatting with cool people on an online fourm :^)
Waking up for work but realizing it's the weekend, then going back to sleep again.
Literally anything to do with blankets or jackets or anything warm.
The pitter patter of rain outside.
I could go on for a while.

  • SushiFeelings 09-24-2015, 10:32 PM
One thing I really enjoy doing is if I have a good amount of free time and feeling tired I like to cuddle up in my bed with all my blankets. It's so comfy it's like pure bliss.
  • Mew 09-24-2015, 11:24 PM
