Stances on drugs?

I dont care about peoples personal lives. I will say personally i find xanax users to be the worst people to be around extremely high, they repeat things over and over rant non stop, fall asleep intermittently, litterally forget the previous 1 second and when really messed up piss themselves. They never seem to remember this behavoir as well, but on low doses it doesnt really happen except the ranting , im talking high level doses. I would also like to add this is from having a xanax loving roommate that i know this stuff.

Who are you to rule someone else's life? Let people do drugs and offer them help instead of locking them up. Stimulants make people into assholes in general, keep it to the weed and occational psychadelics and alcohol.

On the one hand, I don't judge people on their private lifes (or at least I'd like to think I don't).

On the other hand, I really don't want close friends using drugs because of the health issues.

As in, I don't want my friends to be more prone to having lung or larynx cancer, but I don't like being that guy.

Also, inebrated friends are pretty depressing to me. They just feel off and caricaturesque. A bit childish on my part, I guess.

I'm all for the legalization of weed and psychedelics such as LSD and shrooms. I try to stay away from stuff that's addictive like opiates and benzos now that I know how shitty addiction actually is, was addicted to H earlier this year, but now I've been clean for awhile.

Adderall every once and awhile is nice, but I try to stay away from meth since all the people associated with it are sketchy as hell and I hate metheads more than I hate dope fiends. Coke is pretty fun though.

Depends what you define as drugs, tobacco is a drug and so is alcohol but they're both legal and accepted by most, even if you're against drugs overall.
I have a pretty heterogeneous array of friends, from the ones that are straight edge, to ones that have done cocaine, LSD, and I don't judge none of them in that aspect. There's always a reason behind why people do things, and people rarely do heavy drugs just for the lulz. So while I'd rather some of them wouldn't do cocaine and more heavier substances, I don't condone them because of it or treat them differently but I do try to help them out on choosing a healthier path.

In my case, I don't do drugs as I have seen what it did to several of my friends, besides casual cigarettes and alchol when I'm out.

That's from those textbooks, isn't it? Genki, right?

Anyways, I've dealt with a few dependences/addictions in my time. They're not fun, especially since most drugs induce a tolerance.

I don't judge but I do think most of them are really dumb. The health detriments for a lot of them against the actual benefits are so skewed in my eyes that it makes zero sense. Again, do whatever you want to do, almost anything could be considered a 'drug' but common sense I feel is a tad undervalued when it comes to how people choose to consume them.

I am not for the taking of any drugs that have not been prescribed to you by a licensed MD.

Pain that isn't intense enough for a doctor to prescribe you painkillers
  • Combo 12-06-2015, 06:00 PM (Edited 12-06-2015, 07:42 PM)
I'm relatively open on drug use, as long as you're the one in control and you don't escape that reality you'll be fine. It's an issue when a person escapes that reality without even feeling the change. I think drug users shouldn't be treated as criminals and should be helped psychologically with their mental health issues.

drug users should go to rehabilitation centers if caught, and if caught again after they're done, then it should be jail imo

I won't judge anyone for their way of life unless it directly affects me. I don't do any myself either, however I plan to start smoking pot whenever it becomes legal up here in Canada.
  • Kieru 12-07-2015, 07:40 AM

Doctors cant prescribe you something that will actually take away the pain and like drugs
    they also don't help.
They only lie to you cause the moment they wear off that feeling will come right back.

I love doing bars. I love the feeling of being retarded for a short amount of time.
