I get a range of feelings from it, but I think "introspective" is what I'd use to describe it all. It also isn't something I get from any other version of this song.

    Pure joy

I should really watch the anime at some point.

It might be a classic; perhaps even cliche; and this version happens to be a cover. But no matter how it's sung or who sings it, it never fails to pick me up when I need it most.

idk. i straight got chills from this just now and figured this would be the best place to post it.

But it's so good, and beautiful. But it's sad, sounds like the type of music one would have playing while ending their life in movies and stuff.

Actually hella good. Thanks for the music dawg.

Halo music has always been nothing short of superb (well, save Halo 4, but let's not go there), but this track has always stood out in my mind above the rest.

Listening to this song late at night in a quiet house; it gives me the impression of transcending my terrestrial shackles; of standing on the precipice of an infinite cosmos, just begging to be explored to your heart's content.

I should really write some article on how shoegaze music makes me feel.

I must say in my adolescense i was never interested in this type of music because i thought that it was deprressing (it actually is) and favored frenetic and frantic songs like for example aces high by Iron Maiden, since it is a good song about aircraft pilots and the war, lacks of the depth of our souls that changes in that time of our lives. You start experiencing heartbreaks, deceptions and emptiness which can't be filled with fantasy tales (my point of view) and obviously can't be filled with other people's experiencies but sometimes developing empathy can make you feel different in a way.

And that's how i feel about it.

This is not particulary shoegaze just because they aren't from the UK but it is almost the same.

Ya know, I was going to post something about Halo and I didn't. I wasn't into Halo growing up since I didn't have Xbox or a good PC, but I had "rich" friends who had the games, and have a lot of memories going over to these people's houses(which were way nicer than my own) to play some split screen CTF after school. By the time Halo 3 came, it wore off, but I got the game anyways due to peer pressure, and that was the last game I played in the series. This song just stuck with me forever. Makes me think of the big houses of these kid's families, built in the woodland suburbs of Alabama. lol it's weird sharing these thoughts for some reason.

    Easily...

The Angelic Process (or this entire album) clouds a fucking wall of sound with such passion.
This album off loads a sense of longing, emptiness, hatred, sorrow, passion, but hollow nothingness.

I actually discovered this band tonight funny enough, I really like the massive sound they pump out but lead it into quiet, calming interludes of hopefully notes and quasi-cheerful sounds, but dives right back into the almost overpowering 'noise'.
If you like drone/black metal? You'll probably enjoy this.

It does a splendid job of encapsulating the state of Modoc when the player first arrives. The ghostly and ethereal feeling reflects how the citizenry think their town is in the midst of a slow death. Mark Morgan really knew his stuff when it came to making atmospheric music for these games.
