Probably for the best~. Linux gaming has gone leaps and bounds in the last year alone, but most gaming stuff is still Windows. Plus if you need any closed-source non-gaming software, it's really a bit of a crapshoot whether it works at all. These might include proprietary standards like PhotoShop, but also community-sourced applets like mod installers. And to make matters worse, the piracy scene for Linux games is literally nonexistent. So yeah. ^_^'

Regarding VR in particular, I know VR Chat works fine with some tweaks, save that streaming videos will insta-crash the application. This is a bigger inconvenience than it might seem, since there's tons of rooms these days built around watching movies and YouTube videos. Note that this is also the literal best-case scenario, as VRC was made using Unity. Other games with their own engines, or overlays like FpsVR are very likely to either break, or operate with reduced performance.

My hardware's proven a real pain in the ass for installing Linux, but if I could, I'd mostly use it for Discord, web browsing, and programming stuff. I'm hoping that changes in the next few years.

I've been trying to dual boot for the past hour and it's been pretty unsuccessful. Not sure if I should continue or stop for the night. PepeHands

What issues have you been having? :o

If it helps, I think it's usually better to install windows first, as it'll probably just shove its bootloader over what's already there. GRUB on the other hand can actually deal with other OSes

I was trying to dual boot pop OS, but it uses systemd instead of GRUB. I'm just going to try out Manjaro instead.

My issues was most likely to do with the boot partition junk, but I gave up on that so.

I've never used systemd's bootloader, so I have no idea how it works. GRUB should be fine though.

Depends. For washing hands, I prefer bar soap. Otherwise, I tend to go for liquid soap.

Got Manjaro working, and that somehow got pop OS working?? Oh well.
