New years resolutions thread.

It's almost 2016 and in some countries it already isn't 2015 anymore. I thought it would be a good idea to post our new years resolutions here so we can forget about them next week.

My new years resolution is 1920 x 720. I'm also going to try being less of a twat in the coming year

    What about yours?
  • pixelwitch 12-31-2015, 02:39 PM
To be more confident in initiating social ventures, so I don't have to spend another new-years alone (though that may come with entering university).
Putting sufficient effort into curricular study near exam-time also seems useful.

It doesen't have anything to do with a new year but I'm working on myself and I'm slowly successing.
My main goals are to stop procrastinate and be more understanding.

And so far both actually make me fell better.

Yes if you just take it slow and take it one step at a time you'll likely succeed.
I'm not going to correct your grammar because I'm kinda busy atm so I'll do it later, unless someone else wants to do it for me.

Going to focus on my social anxieties a little bit more.

it doesn't matter because I'll stop trying by February 1, just like everyone else
  • Victory 12-31-2015, 05:15 PM
Not really a resolution, but I just want to finally focus on one of my interests. I've dipped my toes in so many things (music production, art, programming, etc), but I always change my mind after getting started. I'd like to actually progress in programming.

    Happy 2017!

2015 was full of depression for me, so I want to get away from all that death thoughts.

I overdosed twice and got into cutting. I want 2016 to be a happy year.

Believe me, I'm well-acquainted with that feeling.

For starters, I'll probably start reading books and watching anime again. Now that I've got my health back in order somewhat, I'm also hoping to be a lot more social. Perhaps I could learn to cook sometime, though that's on the back-burner.

I don't intend to have a new years resolution that I'll just end up breaking anyway.
  • FukuchiChiisaia 01-04-2016, 12:16 PM (Edited 01-04-2016, 12:18 PM)

In retrospect, I accomplished almost none of these things. But I did improve my life in other ways at least.

Anyhoo, 2017 is prolly gonna be the year I get back in shape. I kinda need to; I lost like fifty pounds this year, but now I look like a beanpole.
