Sorry it's a little late yet again. People were busy again.

    Flashy Flash.
    - Remember Utawarerumono? It came out in 2006. We're using Eruruu from this anime in one of our banners, if you've been paying it enough attention. Yes, same girl as in this gif above. Well, long story short, Sentai will release OVAs for this anime, consisting of side short stories taking part in first season's timeline.
    - Pandora in the Crimson Shell is getting an anime adaptation. Here's the synopsis:
Quote:When Nanakorobi Nene, a cybernetically-enhanced girl-next-door, heads to the island metropolis of Cenancle to live with her aunt, she has no way of knowing what's in store for her. A chance meeting intertwines her fate with that of the super-rich inventor, Uzal Delilah, and her adorable and grumpy companion, Clarion, who happens to be a cyborg just like Nene.

    Weekly recap
You must have heard about Yosuga no Sora by now. In case you haven't, it's one of those controversial titles that surfaced barely because of their controversy. I had a chance to rewatch it recently, and I gotta say... it's just as I remembered it. Haruka and Sora, brother and sister, arrive to the countryside where they lived 4 years earlier after their parents died. They settle in, trying to get over being all alone, and Haruka instantly hits romance. And it's not like he's fine with a single girl... this anime covers every route from the game, introducing time resets after each route. And it's not like it's afraid to go really borderline with sex...
After all, it wasn't that bad a watch. As long as you can bear Haruka being an indecisive fuck and Sora being unbearably persistent early and late on, you're gonna be rewarded with a gold scene in the last two episodes. Will say no more other than 'hallway'.[/block]

[block]Hey Lewders! Have you all heard about the Steam Box and SteamOS? It's an expensive, convoluted answer to solve a convoluted problem! Sounds great, or not... I'd be surprised if @losi doesn't mention this at all, but here I go! Arstechnica.com ran some benchmark tests to compare the performance of the machines running SteamOS to a computer running Windows 10 that had the same level hardware. Here's a screen cap of the tests.

As you can see, the Windows 10 computer blew the Steam Boxes out of the water!  There was simply no contending -- not even on games made in the Source Engine by Valve!  If Valve thinks these things are going to make PC gaming more appealing for people, they will have to step up their game.  Personally, I bet they perform poorly because SteamOS is Linux based, and Linux sucks, right @equinox?

Lastly, some good news from Youtube. So anyone who follows any famous Youtuber has probably heard about content ID bots, and copyright strikes.  Those two things are channel-ending offenses.  Despite the harsh punishments of these crimes, Youtube has made it surprisingly easy for people to be hit with such claims. The video service has finally had enough of the flagrant abuse of this tool, and is finally working to put a stop to it.  Certain content creators (ones who have been hit the hardest) are now protected by Youtube. If someone truly wants a copyright strike brought on a channel, they will be forced to take it to actual court. Kangaroo courts be damned! I'll let my Lord and savior Jim Fucking Sterling Son, tell you the details.

Issue #15: Chris Travis - The Encore

Chris travis, a rapper based out of Memphis, TN, just released a new single on soundcloud titled 'The Encore'. With countless tracks under his belt, it's surely nothing out of the ordinary, but this track is just flat-out stellar from the production to the lines. It's a future classic for sure.

    Intel Core i7 Broadwell-E launch set for Q2 2016

hexus.net Wrote:Intel's upcoming Core i7 Broadwell-E high-end desktop (HEDT) processors will hit the market in Q2 2016, according to a new leaked slide published by Chinese tech site Benchlife.info (via TechPowerUp). Q2 spans April to June and if you take the chart on face value, Intel Core i7 Broadwell-E chips sporting 6, 8 and 10 cores will become available towards the beginning of that quarterly period. Earlier this week we reported on another Chinese leak, which provided the specifications of Intel's Core i7 Broadwell-E HEDT range of processors. The top of the range Core i7-6950X grabbed our attention as it comes equipped with 10 physical CPU cores and support for 20 threads. This chip also stands out from the pack thanks to its 'eXtreme' overclockability via an unlocked multiplier and voltage tweaking flexibility. I've reproduced the product lineup that we found out about below:

The full lineup of Intel Broadwell-E processors, using socket LGA2011-v3, is said to be as follows:

    Intel Core i7-6950X: 10 cores, 20 threads, 25MB L3 cache, 3.0GHz
    Intel Core i7-6900K: 8 cores, 16 threads, 20MB L3 cache, 3.3GHz
    Intel Core i7-6850K: 6 cores, 12 threads, 15MB L3 cache, 3.6GHz
    Intel Core i7-6800K: 6 cores, 12 threads, 15MB L3 cache, 3.4GHz

The new Intel processors have been leaked. The specs are very respectable. In fact, insanely respectable. The Extreme processor (Intel Core i7-6950X) has 10 cores, 20 threads, 25MB L3 cache sitting at 3.0GHz. I'm quite excited when some people get this processor on a bench and pit it against the previous Extreme processor, the i7-5960X. That 8 core beast has 2 less cores but has the same 3.0GHz b-clock. With the i7-6950X having 2 extra physical cores as well as 2 extra virtual cores, I'm guessing this upgrade will leave the i7-5960X in the dust. It seems these new Extreme processors are slowly getting more cores and higher L3 cache. Sounds like Xeon processor with unlocked cores in my honest opinion.

Batman: Arkham Knight PC will not support SLI, Crossfire

vg247.com Wrote:The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is working – mostly – but the various teams working on it have decided not to continue pursuing SLI and Crossfire support, meaning many players can’t get the most our of their hardware.

“We’ve been working with our development and graphics driver partners over the last few months to investigate utilizing multi-GPU support within Batman: Arkham Knight,” a team member identified as wb.elder.pliny wrote in response to a Steam Community query.

“The result was that even the best case estimates for performance improvements turned out to be relatively small given the high risk of creating new issues for all players. As a result we’ve had to make the difficult decision to stop work on further multi-GPU support.”

The representative said Warner Bros. is “disappointed” that it wasn’t practical to offer support for multi-GPU usage, and apologized to “those who have been waiting for this feature”.

This game is a massive piece of shit. Warner Bros fucked the PC gaming community up the ass. They took this game off the shelf because it was an unoptimized, laggy, and bloated game. Months later, the game was put back on the shelves. Zero SLI and Crossfire support, still laggy and still unoptimized. This game was supposed to be a Triple A game. Why the hell is SLI and Crossfire not supported? It's because Warner Bros decided to pull the plug and told the developers to give up on the game. Now the pc player that bought this game months ago are stuck with a dead, unoptimized game. Way to go Warner Bros.

Nvidia Releases Gameworks VR and Designworks VR SDKs

vrfocus.com Wrote:Like many others, GPU manufacturer Nvidia is betting big on the future of virtual reality (VR) technology. Over the past few years the company has closely aligned itself with VR specialists such as Oculus VR to integrate its products and other services with head-mounted displays (HMDs). A big part of Nvidia’s VR plans are being realised today, as the company has released its GameWorks VR and DesignWorks VR software development kits (SDKs) that will help those working in VR get the most out of their experiences in terms of performance.

As explained in a video below, GamesWorks VR offers a number of systems and techniques to help VR developers. The first of these is VR SLI, which increases the performance of apps by assigning different GPUs to render images for each eye when in-HMD, though this obviously only applies to systems with at least two GPUs. Multi-Res Shading, which VRFocus reported would be making its way to Unreal Engine 4 earlier this month, which prioritises rendering in areas based on where the player is looking using Maxwell’s multi-projection architecture.

Nvidia released tools for VR developers. I'm guessing that they want software out in the public before they release their own VR. Nvidia already patented plans for a VR headset back in June. An Nvidia patent application appears to show a VR headset with a "high-end" CPU and GPU built-in to the head mounted wireless capable unit. According to VR Focus, the processor used will be the Tegra X1 Super Chip. I hope this means that Nvidia's own VR headset will be coming soon! But with so many companies making their own VR headsets, I'd think their software would work with other headsets.

Google search can 'stream' apps to your Android phone

engadget.com Wrote:Ever found something on the web that would be better-served by an app, but didn't relish the thought of downloading the app to give it a shot? Google clearly has: as part of a broader mobile search revamp, it's introducing app streaming on Android phones. Search results from certain sites (such as Chimani or HotelTonight) will give you streamed versions of their mobile apps that let you do everything you need without a permanent download. Think of it as Nextbit's cloud-based app management taken to the next level -- you only need to 'install' that app for that brief moment when you really need it. The feature is still in beta testing with a handful of titles right now, but Google is promising to expand the selection over time.

You should also having an easier time finding things even if you already have the apps on your phone. Google search now turns up results within apps whether or not there's matching web content, so you won't miss out on a sweet discount that's hard to find outside of software. All told, Google is doing more to acknowledge that the mobile internet includes a lot more than a bunch of web pages.

Google has announced an interesting idea that revolves around searching for apps on Chrome. All it requires is a solid internet connection over Wifi. I don't have any info about streaming over 4G LTE, but I'd guess it would work fine. I was hoping that this 'app streaming' would work on PC but it's only on mobile. A big bummer, Google could have made something that's already cool into something even cooler. Not many apps are supported currently and Google is slowly including more apps. I'd personally use it just to see how it works then never use it. [/block]

Dishonored 2- Okay so the first one was good and this super super super secret confidential super secret before release info i'm about to explode on is an extremely top secret confidential super secret before release surprise.
You are a technical traitor who works his time by helping a rebellion.
This game is extremely over hyped (And as Panda would say, it's all the fanbases fault) - But SO much fun.
Now when Dishonored 2 gets released i wouldn't be all over it too much, since everyone's going to be pelvic thrusting the game till it loses redeeming value.
It's probably just better to pre-order or if you're a type that's okay with waiting just sit around until a sale shows up or the game loses quick cash payments and they lower the price.
But the game really is a lot of fun and actually sparked a small social connection around the MC Users who've all grouped up copies using their own money and are releasing them to those who've applied to their contest before November 20, (which is now closed) once the game releases towards the beginning of 2016.
-Anyway in slights of answering the game actually revolves around you being an assassin,
which is basically one of the things you tend to repeat towards the beginning of the game.
And (SUPER SECRET INFO COMING UP) For those who actually plan to buy the game, you can kill literally anyone just remain sneaky about it or find yourself to be killed by other enemies around you.[/block]

    [block]We reached 28,000 posts.

Rii stepped down as admin and quit Lewd (and apparently everything else) for unknown reasons.

@"reiko" is now a moderator, possibly temporarily, possibly permanently, idk yet; but welcome her to the position nonetheless. I am still looking into bringing on another mod.

We'll likely be moving servers some time this weekend.

    Some nice threads: [/block]

Almost the same here, only watched the current aired episodes of the current season but haven't touched the first one yet, so I have no clue how Eruru looks like.
