    Dolphins probably have a primitive civilization going somewhere out there, and it'll probably be extinguished before we ever realize it's there.

    We consider the brain the most important organ, but what made us think that?

    Read this one today;

    Blackbeard must have had a very impressive beard to earn that nickname in an era where most men probably had beards.

    It's a good thought. Today's political and cultural climate is ever more accelerationist and utilitarian. As a result, the patristic kinds of insight are lost on modern man. Today it's almost a taboo to know something that doesn't have some kind of utility. Universities now produce workers and not intellectuals.
    We're done acting, the time is to start interpreting again.

    True.

    >> Universities now produce workers and not intellectuals.

    It really depends of the field. Litterature or philosophy, even economy or sociology's student are thinkers before being workers. Also, there aren't a lot of work for them out there. :3

    There is people who works and others who judge others work and consequences. I can only criticize journalist that now do not for the majority investigate and stay objective about a subject, as they influence more and more the public.

    ps: Sorry for my English, I speak French as my main languages. ^^

    You earthlings are interesting when you decide to work together to perform what you call "music", and you build things which, when performed properly, create vibrations in your athmosphere which travel to your ears, creating signals that are interpreted as pleasing to your brain. And these signals must be organized and timed very carefully to create what you might call "musical composition". And this process which you seem to have created for recreational purposes, may evoke feelings of happiness or sadness, or think about things that were previously not a part of your conscience.

    Necroquote, but there was an early opponent of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation known as "George the Bearded."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George,_Duke_of_Saxony

    My teacher always said that when considered next to his fellow rulers Frederick the Wise, Albert the Courageous, and Henry the Pious, "George the Bearded" sounds somewhat unflattering... because they all had beards!
