Dream/Nightmare Thread?

• LameSheep 09-27-2015, 02:29 PM
My first thread here other than the introduction thread I made before.

What do you dream about, Lewd? Do you remember any of your dreams? Do you write down any of your dreams? Do you have some wacky setup for lucid dreaming at all?

I usually remember a handful of my dreams/nightmares but I've never started writing them down until about a year ago. Sadly, I checked to see if I had any of my previous entries saved but poof: gone. I've just started it up again, though. Typing bits and pieces of what I can remember if they're significant enough.

So how about you, viewer? Got anything to share?

My dreams are weird. They hardly ever make sense or have any relation to real life stuff.

Like, this one dream I had last week. I was in some clothes shop in a mall and next thing I know, I'm naked on top of a display of clothing with some cute boy on top of me.

I'm like "Wtf is going on?". My arms and legs aren't bound, but I can't sit up. Obviously, the cute boy is having sex with me, but why? So people are watching and kinda just like "oh, public sex. Whateva".

Next thing that happens is that time freezes for everyone except me. I can move again, but I can't pull out. So I try to dislodge myself, but to no avail.
Don't know what happened next because everything went black and I woke up.

I don't even know anymore.

My dreams are usually pretty boring. Usually my every day life but with a lot of things around me different. I also have a lot of dreams that involve the high school I used to go to, you'd think after graduating 4 years ago i wouldn't dream about school.

The other night I had a dream that I got rejected by a cute. Rejected in my own dream, so sad.

I usually don't remember my dreams or attempt to remember them but that seems like a neat idea keeping track of them. Usually I don't dream at all though just sleep and wake up if anything I think it's pretty strange to have dreams.

If it makes you feel any better I wouldn't have rejected you~

I get those dreams on some occasions. (Both the cutie dreams and highschool dreams.) I'm glad to have gone all the way with cuties in my dreams but it's always "Awh, goddamn it." when I wake up. :v

Yeah, thank goodness.

Yupyup. Having loved Yume Nikki and while currently playing Catherine, I thought that it'd be cool to keep track of my dreams and maybe share some of them with people when the time was right. Lots of my dreams are really vague and abstract, I wanna say?

The only dream I remember vividley was when I was in a silent-hill sort of world. I was with three other people and we explored a church which had girls in white bowing down towards the entrance. It ended in me shooting myself in the head on purpose, but by accident.

My dreams are quite simple. One moment I'm dreaming of the same-old reoccurring dream of a 3rd person tornado and the next I'm in an unsettling modification of my primary school (elementary).
In fact, not once do I remember having an interesting or happy dream, they've just been dark or boring. Not nightmares- just... chilling.
The Red Velvet Dream

I call this dream the Red Velvet Dream because of the schools new carpet. While the original was indeed red, in my dream it was much darker and really set the whole creepy atmosphere. It was a normal school, with my normal childhood friends but, everything was different. The children playing on the outside creepily tried to prevent me from going inside, two of them holding skipping ropes across the entrance to trip me up. The way the said my name, while in a normal tone, thinking back on it sends shivers down my spine.
Once I managed to get inside the building, the layout of the inside was different. It was the same corridors but, going in different directions from before. I took a visit to the office (where I was taken frequently to meet my parents and go home since I hurt myself often) and for some reason, they didn't seem to take notice of me, nor did they remember who I was.
The teachers were cold. The children were mean. Things that wasn't supposed to be there before were there, such as a playground toy that never existed. I just sat on there at the start of the dream, spinning around for a long time until anyone approached me.
The unsettling dream, the Red Velvet Dream.
I was going to write more stories, but for now I'll leave you with one. I'll write more if you want. ^-^

Ooh, unsettling yet intriguing. Your more than welcome to type out more of your dreams, I think. Anyone else is free to share their dreams too if they wish.

I don't usually have dreams, or when I do, they vanish out of my mind as soon as I wake up. Here's an excerpt of some quick note taking I did back during Christmas. It has no actual pattern at all, so I guess my mind is too complex even for me. Have a look:
•    Nai was at my house and everyone else went to church
•    The house turned into a mall before I left
•    She left quotes and signatures at the bed by Noah Reyes and other people
•    "Totes not using notepad."
•    Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift at a pool?
•    iron8132
•    music
•    I was writing an essay
•    Due at 9 PM in New Zealand but I was here in America so I thought it was for 9 pm here.
•    I was almost done then I realized that I was working on the wrong prompt.
• 12-18-2014
•    who was best Santa
•    graded by essay about Santa and writing a story
•    I was close to losing
Now that this thread seems interesting enough, I might try and get back to typing/writing down my dreams when I awake, and post back on here later.

I've wanted to keep a dream journal for a long time, but I can never be motivated enough to wake up from a dream and write it down before passing out again. It sucks having a really touching/sad/scary dream, and remembering none of it when I wake up again.

Funny, I had a fever a few days ago and I kept sleeping in micro-intervals in the middle of the night with varying dreams - wish I could remember, though.

p-please create a dream journal. If you have the ability to dream, then do it.

I heard there's a way to dream more frequently by doing a specific diet/workout.

I know those feels on having a really emotional dream and not remembering some of it sometimes. I also had a micro-interval set of dreams before but only out of two naps did the dreams connect. Odd.

Incoming notes from a recent nightmare:
-Pixelated moon. Pink colors. Warning not heeded. "Dont do *it*." Friends met before nighttime while overhearing about some kind of brawl. After meeting up with friends, I was suddenly in some hotline miami top-down PoV. Doing "it" was some kind of action where I reset something. Missile being launched from the moon. Earth in the background. Everything felt so final. Woke up dehydrated and out of breath.
Most of my dreams are pretty vague but when i do understand them, they really piece in together with real life.
• Edo 09-27-2015, 05:54 PM
To me, I don't remember my dreams. It's like a black atmosphere, then I wake up. Either that, or I just rarely dream. I do have the occasional picture or motion though, but not much.
• mis 09-27-2015, 06:49 PM
I tend to dream way more often than I'm really comfortable with. It's cool at first, but imagine maybe 3 times a week watching a movie with you starring in it, and then not being able to remember anything about it when waking up. It's infuriating.

One of the odd things about the way I dream is that some of them "continue" from another one - not like within the same week or even the same month, but I'll be in a dream and suddenly remember the past "events" that happened from a few years back of another dream. I can't state specifically what happened, but I'll know it inherently.

I don't remember to many of my dreams but there are a couple that I distinctly remember, one of them I've posted around before but I'll share it here as it is the most recent dream that I vividly remember

I'm in my bedroom, not sure how I got there but i think that I must've just 'woken up'. Everything in the world has a tone of gray, much like one of those photo filters that displays everything in a grayscale. But it is more than just a filter, there is just an overall depressing feeling and I am aware of this but not bothered by it. I begin to move around my house and discover that there are spiders everywhere. They look much more like shellless spider crabs but are very large, the only real relation i can think of is the dukes dear freja boss in dark souls 2. These spiders are all attached to different objects around my house, i.e tables, books, curtains, etc. The spiders were all sized around the same size of the object that they were attached to. Near the mouths of the spiders is some kind of tube and it looks like they are siphoning something. I wasn't alarmed by these spiders in any way shape or form until my cat walked by and I noticed that there was a spider on it. Now I move to kill the spider on my cat, I pry from its abdomen to get it off my cat and notice that i just broke open an egg sac, after this the spider skitters away rapidly. I chase down the spider and kill it, then wash its corpse under hot water (no idea why). Then I woke up

I really want to know what this meant, if it has any significance of course, my interpretation of this is the spiders are sucking the color out of the world. Beyond i have no idea if its something symbolic or just a creepy dream

Sorry for bad english, it is my first language but I am bad at writing

I just woke up from something that felt really cute.

I woke up in front of this mansion with what seemed to be these videogame characters. Some demonic rabbit was telling us about how we were "next' or something vague like that while the group questioned what "next" was. Then out of nowhere, the rabbit started flying around our heads trying to attack us and that made the entire party run around, but no one was really scared. The group couldn't help but laugh at the rabbit despite this trying to be some kind of lame-ass "dot-exe" nightmare or whatever.  It was actually really adorable because the poor thing was trying really hard to strike fear into our hearts but instead we were just having a great time. When I woke up, I had this song playing in my head. Dehydrated again and I couldn't get the song out of my head until I actually looked it up and heard it.

@tftp
That sounds creepy as all hell although I'm not sure as to what the dream could mean. Maybe you've got anxious about the place where you had your nightmare in? Not sure.

I tried that and dreamt about having a gangbang. I pretty much get fucked in the ass by one guy, jerk off two guys, and give a blowjob to the last guy.

Accidentaly on purpose actions in dreams are the worst. I remember this one time I dreamt that my mom asked me for a glass of water but when I thought I was giving her a glass of water I was actually stabbing her. Then I got really scared and stabbed myself and woke up. It was really unsettling, I love my mom.

Apart from that, I usually don't remember my dreams. I do remember they tend to turn lucid when I realize I can breathe underwater.
