Have any of you guys tried ZeroNet? Seems like a pretty cool network that somehow uses Namecoin (not sure) to verify content, and content is served by those who have visited the respective site, kinda like BitTorrent. Doesn't seem like the most secure thing though, since others can see your IP address. I guess security isn't yet the main goal, but I dunno.

Official Site:

For those worried about anonymity:

or just use a VPS.

But yeah, I think it'll be a while before ZeroNet is actually worth using, since it's so small atm; I've yet to find a zerosite that really peaks my interest and that I couldn't find on the clearnet, but with the big T's on the way it's nice to know that a stable decentralised p2p network is available (that isn't full of pedos, to boot).

I guess the reason for that is that nobody wants to get an entire cp site stored and seeded from their PC just for visiting it!

Have you ever heard of IPFS? It's another decentralized p2p network that sprung up some time ago. I'd like to give it a try but I haven't been able to get it to work yet. ZeroNet has my interest piqued so I'll be sure to give it a look.
