I am going to miss my father's roommate, he is going back to see his family in Baltimore and occasionally will call back. Starting today onwards at 3PM EST due to the legal system here saying, "No more than two people can live in one residential property." His roommate's room next to mine will become my father's sleeping quarters, and my father's room becoming his own entertainment center. A bit disappointed to see his roommate leaving, but at least it was fun times for over four years.

The upsides to this change:

+ It is much less cumbersome to carry groceries and less of a burden on using heat, electricity, water, and the A/C
+ Dad and I will have much easier time sleeping on our own beds, at least for a few more years
+ Dad can use the exercise bike much easier
+ When the money starts flowing again albeit steady, my entertainment center downstairs should be big enough to have the new XBOX ONE console coming in by March
+ Dad can clean up the messes much easier and quicker since his roommate tends to have trouble remembering
+ The bathroom upstairs is much easier for Dad to make it and go back to his new room as he ages

The downsides to this change:

- My room's working desk is in need of a complete overhaul
- I have to keep my eye on my room door more often now his roommate is moving away, which means less time spent on the computer and more time either doing some creative, reading books, or going downstairs to finish my console games
- Privacy is going to be a total nightmare, particularly when trying to go to sleep, as he gets older
- It now becomes my responsibility to help him more often, since his roommate no longer contributes to helping him move things or find missing stuff around the apartment, and when he gets old enough that he starts having problems moving, seeing, and hearing, it becomes harder for me to enjoy myself but still trying my best caring for him

I'll still be around, but much less frequently than I used to. :)

This is not a situation that I was aware of! That sounds super stressful!

Been feeling like hell today at work. Tired, feeling lightheaded almost fainting and just stressed. Idk maybe I'm getting sick or something.

But heeyy I'm feeling 100% great now. A few beers, a burger and some friends after work is a good medicine.

We can dream of being young or demonstrate the dream of how we feel old in the future so long as we're around and try to delay aging with meditation, exercise, and healthy choices now, but because science haven't got around to inventing "make me look young again" logic breaking potions yet. We can only try to delay the inevitable, but that's just it.

Speaking of age, my nanny who came to the US from an impoverished country around WWII I used to live with her years back before I have to move under a state order unrelated to her status is on the verge of natural death, can no longer speak English, and barely even move or talk. Used to be a nun before at some point in her home country and worked a few low-pay jobs. 2014 was my very first and last visit to the senior daycare center I remembered, of all the things I used to talk from childhood before she lost her bilingual ability. Once I get a notice coming from the daycare which might be in the near future, that is when there will be a tonne of debt putting a price on my family's heads, and getting out of debt will be even harder.

I have a worrying feeling from time to time that because she's been around long enough not realizing that Trump is in power, but since she is very old, she might dodge it by meeting with the reaper. Her future remains might not belong here, but back in her country where all the migration action is right now.

Years from now, my mom living with her husband, my dad, and my aunt who has been overweight for many years will all be next to get old, and I'll be last if we're still around after another world war, several elections, and through climate change. That, my mate, is how reality works, we live once, we have to endure fate with very little margin of error, and if we do it poorly or lived well off to whatever number that is old for our bodies, and then poof.

I hate working weekends.

That sucks, man. *sending virtual hugs*
I like meeting people to discuss things I enjoy. I often ask my friends to go out for a walk with me at night and we would talk about whatever. Anwyay, I joined a club in college but quickly stopped showing up after the first month.
My school pretty far away from home and sitting on a bus for 3 hours on a Sunday just killed any motivation I have to live for social activities.

Thanks man :)
Feelin bit better now I guess. You gotta look on the brighter side somtimes, and share your feelings. Just ranting and shit with coworkers haha :p I got payday tomorow and three days off. Going to make the best of it.

Too bad to hear about your social life. But hey weekend social life isn't everything. You're still meeting your buddies at night just chilling :p I remember when I was in highschool. Had a very small class of around 8 people. Most of them were like you, living a few hours away. So we didn't do much on the weekends, but we were still a pretty tight-knit group of friends. Going out to have lunch together and having a good time.

What club did you join? Why did you lose interest? Was in university myself for a year, made two friends. But in the end I became a neet and dropped out. Regrets, but good memories too making good friends.

Payday and holidays are some of my favorite words. Have fun!

I still feel sad sometimes at night thinking about all of the good memories of middle and high school. If only I could go back in time to experience it all over again. I really miss gathering every THursday and Saturday at an internet cafe to play dota. We all slowly drifted apart because we rarely meet each other anymore.

I looked around a bit but nothing else seemed interesting so I joined the Astronomy club. I was under the impression that what we'd do is gather at night, observe and talk about objects in the sky and have fun. That sounds like a lot of fun. Well, it was nothing like I imagined. We're more like a popularizing physics club. Everyone is busy studying so stargazing is just a once in a while thing and even then it's with the whole school because borrowing equiptments is hard except in the case that we open it to the public and teach people who come about astronomy. Most of the time we're there to study English (I'm not kidding, we also hold English competitions) and work on anything that the physics deparment requests like demonstrate/teach physics at a high school/middle school, to the general public or help people preparing for exams. That's really productive and good it's just not what I enjoy.

Yeah man, I feel you. Look back at those times fondly sometimes. These days everyone went their separate paths. Moving away to different cities and states. Making new lifes for themself. Other than the occasional facebook contact sometimes, not much. Nostalgia and looking back the the past can bring about some melancholia occasionally. I try not to look back much on the past these days, it was such a long time ago. Time to start making a new life for yourself! New friends and a new chapter.

I somehow went off on a philosophical self introspection now instead... heh. Well my 2 cents.

Ahh typical! The way we romanticize some things in life, and then reality turns up and dissapoints. You should go look for other clubs! :) Lol, watching Grand Blue anime. Wish I was in university and with a diving club right how. Haha.

Hang in there man, take care of yourself! Sleep, having a daily routine. Get some more healthy food, go outside for walks as often as you can. Gotta push all the body parameters.

Just from a poor sleeping schedule, thankfully. This is a fairly lightweight week for me. I think I started the week off with three hours of sleep so I'm still kinda out of it.
