Years ago I checked out Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai for lewd and dropped it by the second episode. I haven't watched that many shows, but it's just about the only show I remember quitting. Cute redhead main girl but I wanted to strangle the dense buxom childhood friend. Plus the main guy was too blatant about his horniness, I prefer it when people are subtle.

The initals start with CS.
This anime is so bad, I don't think im allowed to say its name in public without immediately falling into hell for gracing the world with this antichrist.
If you know what it is, you know what im talking about.

The Rebuild of Evangelion movies.

Sure, they have high production value.  Sure, they're legitimately entertaining on a few occasions.  That doesn't change the fact, however, that they utterly destroyed everything that I loved about the original series.  Everything from the character development to the design of the EVAs is different, and different in ways that, to me, spit on the memory of the original.

I know it sounds like I'm just complaining about the Rebuilds simply because they're different, but if you watch the original series carefully and then watch the Rebuilds with equal scrutiny, you'll see what I mean.  The new versions of the characters are crudely written imitations of the originals, the plots of the second and third films move forward by disbelief-shattering turns of events and/or altogether out-of-character levels of stupidity from the characters, several subtle but important (i.e. series-establishing) moments are missing, the EVAs look chubby and bulky rather than powerfully svelte, and so on.

Aside from the Rebuilds, I was absolutely bored out of my mind by K-On! and Hetalia alike.  There were also a number of other series of which I only saw one or two episodes before quitting due to how much I disliked them, including Dog Days, Food Wars!, and Ben-To.

that's the reason I dropped Kyoukai no Kanata. I wanted to shoot the main guy the whole time.

On its own, Ghost Stories is probably the worst anime I have seen. The dubs makes it one of my all time favorite comedies though.

THE WORST IS MARS OF DESTRUCTION.

Well, most of you are just saying the anime that you hate, not the the worst.

The worst and the most hated are kinda different since worst is not all about your personal feeling but objective perspective even though you hate it.

I HATE SWORD ART ONLINE BECAUSE ITS ROMANCE THEMED AND GEKKAN SHOUJO NOZAKI-KUN SINCE I PREFER COMEDY SUCH AS YOUKAI WATCH, AI MAI MI, AND GINTAMA. AND ACTUALLY BOTH OF THOSE HATED ANIME WAS ACTUALLY GOOD.

While I don't disagree with that, aren't all opinions subjective?

I recently watched the 3 rebuilds and I gotta say that the first two are borderline decent and the third one just sucks ass.

That depends, what kind of opinion. A good reviewer should look things from different aspects and perspectives.

And a word for everybody here. Don't judge an anime is absolute trash just because you hate it. Just like people who judge Elfen Lied as a trash, because that was gore. Well, Elfen Lied wasn't made for people who hate gore.

I ceratinly didn't hated the Elfen Lied anime, but otherwise, in comparison with the manga, the endings are different and while Nyu/Lucy apparently survives in the anime, in the manga well...

Spoiler

She turns into a puddle of goo
And that's why i didn't liked it that much...
One anime that i hated a lot was Bleach. Not because it was bad, all my dumbass friends were batshit all over it, they bought me a cosplay set so i just dressed up as this blue haired guy who turns into a tiger. I still love those guys but i definitively hate Bleach.

That sounds about right.  Again, they grind my gears in particular because I'm such a die-hard fan of the original anime; it bugs me to no end that they took something so fantastic and made it into a series of films that are mediocre at their best and facepalm-inducing at their worst.

I've watched a lot of anime titles, but I like to stick to films. I'll say two, one of which many people probably have never heard of, and the other I might crucified for.

The first is Neo Tokyo. I've seen a lot of films that attempt to be more art than story, but it was the equivalent of modern art; it was bland and tasteless, with it's only appeal being "strange". I had to really push myself to watch it.

The next is Akira. I can't fathom why everyone panders to this film so hard and how it "saved anime" in the 90's. I suppose it might have been good in it's time, but its one of the few animes I couldn't finish, and as of today, it's the only film I couldn't finish.

Lots of anime (and art in general) tends to be like that. Ever tried reading anything by William Faulkner? Back then he was heralded as the very paradigm of modern literature; today, it comes off as a long, rambling slog through roundabout plots and consequentially-incomprehensible characters.

Actually, on further consideration, this is probably why remakes of popular stories continue to be successful.

You'd be surprised. Even the fanservice shots are few and far between, and all you're usually gonna get is either a pantyshot or some erect nips. Special mention goes to the trademark clumsy girl (because there's always a clumsy girl), whose exagerrated attempts to titillate the viewer come off as downright cringeworthy.

On the plus side though, it does have a nice set of OVAs. Just like Xebec's last production, Kanokon, the specials are literally softcore porn set to some smooth jazz.

I haven't watched that many animes, but the one that gave me the worst memories is "Divine Gate". It was so cliche, so weak, so everything that I'd seen too many times and didn't want to see ever again... Around episode 5 or 6 I was having huge stomach pains and had to stop watching it.

Man, and I thought Akame ga Kill! was generic.
