BACKBOX. BACKBOX. BACKBOX.
IT'S LIKE KALI.
BUT IT'S BACKBOX.

WE HAVE H4X0R UP IN HERE.
WEE-WHEW-WEE-WHEW-WEE-WHEW.

On a serious note, BackBox is a nice distro, but you should not be using a pen-testing distro full-time.

Spoiler

Also, it's not Arch.

Thinking of changing my setup after so long, still using Arch and dwm as window manager. Anyone would like to recommend a distro or WM (preferably tiling)? I feel like I'll still stick to Arch, but I might change to i3 or bspwm. Thoughts?

BackBox; that's why I know what it is.
It still should not be used as a primary operating system. It's just bad for OPSEC.

Well depend on for which purpose you gonna use
internet in my country is too slow like 70kb downloading speed
If i install arch or ubuntu and install all the tools/script i need it's gonna take 3-4 days because of slow internet speed
So i preffer a distro which have some pre installed tools/scripts to save my time also bbox is not that bad like kali linux which have more bugs then tools

Well, if you ever want to try a new OS and still keep all of your 'pre-installed' tools then you could always consider katoolin.py instead.
It automatically downloads and installs all Kali Linux tools at once.

Downloding is the real problem because my downloding speed is 70kb that's why I'm using bbox which is more stable as compare to kali and have almost all the tools i need

Not a problem! I'm glad that you found it useful.
The real thanks should go to LionSec for recently creating it though!

So I still decided to stick with Arch after a fresh install, but using herbstluftwm as tiling window manager now. I find it even better than dwm, I should have tried i3 before to get a feel of manual tiling window managers.

Still have to fix a few things like battery icon, browser vim keybindings and lemonbar tweaking (first time using anything other than dzen2 and conky, so I just got a script from Arch BBS).

Tried BSPWM before? It requires less configuration than i3 and AwesomeWM. The only thing I'm not too sure about is how it functions compared to DWM or HerbstluftWM, etc. since I haven't used those.

Code:
$ sudo pacman -S bspwm sxhkd

For some sort of top bar/dock/thingo you could use anything you like. Tint2 is an easy route to go, and is reliable especially for systrays, but the harder (and in my opinion more fun route) is lemonbar (especially with XFT support, thing is demonic without).

Been working on modifying the Numix Frost theme to fit my system more, and fix a few bugs in it. :P

Got some good progress on it, too.

I would give a secondhand recommendation against that. I asked a friend that's knowledgeable regarding computers and he told me I shouldn't install any different OSs on a Mac, because it cuts the battery life short by a lot, since the software in Macs is really optimized for that. I'm paraphrasing and am probably making it sounds less convincing, but keep that in mind.

In reality, all he's doing is pushing the same buttons he always has, nothing has changed. The longer he spends here, the more invested he gets, the more he forgets which life is the real one.

I ended up installing Fedora onto my MacBook last night, the battery isn't too bad. (i can still boot into osx if i desperately need an extra hour of power)

Well depend on for which purpose you gonna use

So i preffer a distro which have some pre installed tools/scripts to save my time also bbox is not that bad like kali linux which have more bugs then tools

If you look at it from a time perspective, it would still take the same amount of time to download and install the programs later rather than at installation, the difference being you won't have to wait longer for the distro to install. This is assuming the download speed stays steady at 70kb/s, or whatever it may be.
