Sup. I hail from the northeastern US region near NYC. I fix computers and I like 2d lewd things.
I'm an IRC junkie. I'm usually on more than 10 different networks on a daily basis, but only in 1-2 channels each.
I have many computers, some vintage and still running. my oldest on the internet 24/7 at the time of this post is 22 years old, and I think the oldest running computer I own is going to turn 30 next year.

I have a strong belief that low-power x86/64 devices are the future.
I get a [Image: 68747470733a2f2f752e706f6d662e69732f7564...792e706e67] from sticking modern hardware into older computer cases sometimes:

and do so while on a heavily low budget, by making use of select parts otherwise going to be scrapped, in return for knowledge and work put in dismantling computers for a friend running a scrap metal collection and disposal business. he wins, and I win big.

I watch animu on a large scale as it comes out, and read the occasional mango and a few different webcomics. torrents are the shit, maaaan.
Aside from that, I'm probably what you'd consider normal. Currently I don't hold a job because my car is verschnickt, and am more adept to being a shut-in NEET than anything at this point, but I'm working at changing that before the year is over, with any luck.
that's it. have a good one, see you on the flipside.

Edit: the Discord link doesn't seem to be working, so I'm going to check that out some other time then.

Intel. AMD makes nice low-power gear, but are sure to sell themselves like dirty whores on the street corner soon, as they're not doing good as a company despite all the new stuff. when that happens, a bigger company will buy them, and they'll lose their x86 licensing as per the agreement with Intel. VIA isn't relevant enough to matter, even when they do have big talk happening about their CPU subsidiary. no one uses their chips except for thin clients, embedded or Industrial SBC applications anymore. without a large buyer, they will be stuck in the low-power industrial market forever at this rate.

that's the funny thing. no such error. if I click Authorize, it just spits me back to the same page, as if I did nothing at all.

Will Intel be able to continue using AMD64 though?
