There's a thread like this in the Music group, but most folks aren't members (or even aware that it exists, hah.)

Might as well start off with a fun one. ^^

10/10 - First song I listened to the entire 10 hour version of. I don't think I possess the strength to do that again.

6/10 - I liked the vocals but I wasn't really feeling much from the music.

10/10 One of my fav Pink Floyd songs, almost ten years listening this.

Probably my favorite pink floyd song. It's really the first song where pink flods really found their musical style. The first half of Meddle is "old" pink floyd trying to find their way, then they all come together and produce this amazing masterpiece out of the hat which is still one of of not the best song they've made to date. Sorry, I couldn't help but vent about it, even if it's not what i'm meant to be rating.

I'll make sure to reply to this thread properly when I have time!

-snip!-

An absolutely phenomenal piece, IMO. It's incredibly melancholy, but the execution in the first half of the song is flawless. You get a real sense of the strong emotion the artist must've been going through when he composed it, and the entire thing's structured like a miniature novel for the ears. Overall, a solid nine-point-five outta ten.

Personally though? I'm more into the lighthearted stuff. ^^

Seems all the characters have a lot of fun on that one! I'm beyond mere words. 10/10

Now for my turn, this guy's the master in the rhythm and blues back in the early 90's that it went to 4th place for nearly half a year straight, and one of the best singles at the time. This is the extended version of the original.

I'll also play this again for this Saturday's upcoming battles, being Miya's battle theme. She likes this kind of music, too. :)

It ain't really my cuppa tea, but it's still a decent tune. Seven outta ten? ^^

Try this one on for size though. :3

Wasn't quite feeling this one. I'd give it a four out of ten, however the effort that went into the video is impressive. I enjoyed the combo despite disliking the song.

Er, ah... Eight outta ten, maybe? I listened to the whole thing, and I still can't quite make heads or tails of it. It's easily one of the most unorthodox pieces of music I've ever experienced.

Speakin' of Sabaton, though... Try this on for size. :3

It's Sabaton. Arguably one of my favorite bands. Easily a 10/10 for me. Video is so good with it too.

Needs more metal love, not enough metal love in a dying age without it, have to give this a fair score of 7.5/10. *pats Seel's hat* <3

How about an Osu! performance with an S ranking? I found myself whispering the Abyssals' chanting repeatedly in my head all day.

Sinking to the bottom, burning down in the depths
Sinking within the blink of light under the freezing water surface
Sinking to the bottom, burning down in the depths
Sinking within the blink of light under the freezing water surface

Sink to the bottom, sink to the depths
Sink to the depths, deeply in the dark
Collapse, break away, sink completely
To the bottom of the darkness, together with your friends!

Song starts at 0:06 and ends at 5:56. Oh my... goodness! Topoi beat everyone by just one note! :D

8/10
Amazing percussion. There is much in the world of Kancolle outside of the game proper to enjoy that I want to find better entry-points to.

8/10, I'm a bit of a sucker for synth so I really liked the background music. The singing was also pretty neat, cool sounding voice.

I never saw a place as a video going full-blown meme as instruments before. That is... insane difficulty. 10/10 I would not recommend this to seizure-prone watchers, though.

Try playing a slow, but still interesting song with a faster tempo and pitch, and see what happens. We play long songs at Nightcore speed than Earth.

The instrumentals alone weren't bad, but then the nightcore vocals kicked in and more or less ruined it. 3/10.

The vocals are energetic, playful, and sticking to the vibe of the composition. The lyrics are serious but sung to match the glitchy, intense themes of the show. The slow introduction and then spotlight on the violin or whatever it is manages to work with the drums and guitar! Plus it's a good show so 9/10.

Here's some math rock

Lewd. Let me tell you  much I've come to lewd since I began to live. There are 37.2 trillion cells that fill my body. If the word “lewd” was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those thousands of millions of cells it would not equal one one-billionth of the lewd I feel for [REDACTED] at this micro-instant. Lewd! Lewd!

9/10 - It's highly unconventional, and not quite like any song I've heard before, but simply listening to it evokes some indescribable manner of joy in me.

Try this one on for size, though. It's a longer one, but it's well worth stickin' around till the end. ^^

Since you have the link just now, after hearing it, would give this a 9/10.

How about something like Hardstyle? Never get to this kind of beat before. :D

7/10. I liked the vocals and the beat but I thought there was too much time where nothing much was really going on with it.

Unmistakable 80's vibe to it. Not sure I could listen to it a bunch like some other 80's songs, but it was definitely good and I enjoyed it quite a bit. 8/10.

Admittedly my submission is something you really oughta listen to the whole album to appreciate, so if you enjoy this next track please take the time to listen to the entire album as it is a real joy to listen to.

20/10 - Das the good shit right there mane. Perfect music for coding, browsing Lewd, or just simply melting into your chair. I'm deffo gonna rip the rest of the album later. :D

I remember when I discovered this piece five years ago, I was utterly floored from start to finish. Rediscovering it today, it turns out I still am.

Lets be honest here, do I even need to post a numerical rating for that song? It's god-tier and no number accurately displays that.
