So originally Anitai was modeled to be something quite cool:
A modular and intuitive way to navigate through Manga, images, and more all without refreshing your page. Full integration with MyBB, and a plugin was being made to integrate Anitai with MyBB. Unfortunately a partner decided to volunteer for work they had no intention of actually doing. I don't want to work with someone that pulls shit like that, and I do not have time to run a full-fledged community by myself. But I did like the idea of an anime-based content delivery service. Thus, new Anitai was born.

I am currently the only developer/maintainer of Anitai, and it will probably stay that way.

At the moment the site is powered by a very small Python script written with Flask to serve mostly static content(aside from the torrents). However that will change by Monday. Anitai will be a private torrent tracker for anime. So far I've collected over 3,000 episodes automatically in the past 5 days alone. I'm currently writing a script to automatically compile these series into torrents to be published on Anitai. But until that's finished, all torrents listed must be manually input via JSON. So bare with me.

Anitai's old model will soon be released via Github, however I will not be providing the authentication classes, nor will I be providing the service-controller. Meaning the only way you're going to get it to work is if you actually know what you're doing. This is to prevent a certain someone from hosting it themselves.

As of now the torrents are dubbed. Reason being is because I watch shows like this:

Subbed shows will be added within 24 hours, though. As will registration and data tracking.

If this thread gets taken down I'll be absolutely disgusted. With the amount of time I put in to Anitai's original model, this is literally the least that could be done for me.

Damn, I thought I was the only person who used Atom.

This looks like an awesome project, you should accept donations or something, I'm sure there would be some people willing to support the project.

how are you going to differentiate your project from similar, established services? (animebytes, bakabt etc)
your original idea for the project had some unique aspects that made it interesting, this just seems like a carbon copy of other private trackers without the huge libraries
good luck though

For the most part it's not really about setting ourselves apart from other established services. It's just something I'd like to do. Also, I'm unsure about the services you've listed but I normally have a hard time finding dubbed torrents. Which is something we'll have in spades.

As far as the other services having established libraries, that's not something I'm worried about. Anitai's library grows automatically without me having to do anything.
