Luckily I'm far far more likely to be called "mate" than "sir" by a stranger here in the UK.

It is the last hour and a half of the workday. The boss has already left. There is no work to be done, and even if there was, I wouldn't feel like doing it. Why can I not go home?

That's one of my biggest pet peeves too. I work 8 to 5 everyday, and I'm usually done by 2 or 3. I only stay since I am paid hourly but I just kinda sit around lol

new addition! people that write around one word per line in chat environments, thus causing one sentence to be drawn out over my entire screen. :x

Mistreatment of the bourgeois and commoner classes isn't the way I keep hearing all the time. It can be solved by co-existing with them, treating each other fairly whilst at the same time making roughly the same amount of income and maybe, just maybe by a miracle get to keep the economy booming for the generations.

Just let it die, man. Or at least stay quiet for a couple days. Sometimes less can mean so much more.

Why couldn't we have adopted the six-hour workday yet? I wanna go home and play video games, but the boss won't let me.

My dad's roommate works on irregular shifts on random days with no sick pay at the nearest pharm center he frequently visits to get his meds. Too bad the old 30's law we have that gives us Americans eight-hours minimum won't change and never will be. Since the abdication of the gold standard a long time ago, productivity can still increase, but income rates stagnate. As for the mass shootings @floattube brought up, we NEED that 2nd right because otherwise how are we going to defend ourselves from government tyranny, criminals, and betrayed friends? Getting rid of the 2nd right is like betraying your own country for less safety and more power to your enemies.

We already made too many enemies with our former allies nowadays thanks to him in power, so I bet that WWIII is going to happen a lot sooner than we expect, even Trump said there will be a second Civil War but more modern than the mid-1800's if he loses to the Democrats. I take no further interest of war, but don't want to lose my freedoms to my country's enemies if they come knocking on my neighborhood. I can go on for hours ranting if need be. :P

Eh, I see where you're coming from, but honestly, government tyranny or not, you're pretty fucked against a Harrier.

I never understood the whole "I need my guns to protect myself from the government!" as if the government didn't have multiple times the firepower of civilians.
Also I didn't get a notification for this, otherwise I would have responded sooner.

When my favorite game crashes too much in a short space of time, I'll just give it some time to see if it will work again, especially my favorite political sim game. ꉂ `o´ )

People that call you boring or interrorgate you when you say you don't drink alcohol or turn down a alcoholic drink. Maybe british culture that causes this as I find non brits are not as bad when they find out someone does not drink.

I think it depends on the type of person. I've got a buddy who just doesn't really understand why I hardly drink. However, the rest of my friends more or less are like "Ah yeah thats cool too homie, you do you!" and I appreciate that a lot. Though recently I've started trying drinks and what not, on my own accord not peer pressured into it or anything.

People using the squat racks in gyms for things other than squats. Especially when they're doing something that definitely doesn't need the safeties like upright rows and curls.
