I would assume he means he isn't someone who doesn't actively watch anime.

Me, I only watch one one anime a season, even then it's usually some show that's four years old (I prefer watching dubbed.)

I'm still a gigantic weeb, though. Always scouting for new series, occasionally checking out /a/; hell, I even bought a subscription to Otaku USA, the US' last remaining print animu magazine. I barely even read any of the articles, but it's just nice to hold in your hands, y'know?

I like watching anime, though I struggle to find time to watch it. It can't really be a background thing, since I gotta read subs. But other than that, I generally love the manga/anime art style as a whole.

Rewatching Art Attack and Cory soon. I'm a sucker for the classics.

Pretty much the main reason I don't watch more. With Western shows like Top Gear I can sit back, and enjoy the episode without having to give it my undivided attention. I can play a game and still watch, and understand the episode. I can't do that with anime, and that is unfortunate because I would really like to watch more anime.

I never understood people who do this. Why split yourself between two pieces of media when you can pick one and enjoy the intricacies of the experience?

What's to say I can't enjoy the intricacies of the experience while enjoying two pieces of media? Regardless, the main reason I do it is because I want to enjoy both so I do just that. I've never really gave it much thought. When I watch anime, I don't feel like I'm getting a more immersive and enjoyable experience than if I watch and play games at the same time.

"Anime"? Isn't that the Chinese word for "cartoon"?

It's the Mongolian word for "cave painting".

I thought it was Kuvukiland word for "porn". I was wrong.

Clearly, it's Peruvian Spanish for "birdwatching".
