No, I stated that there is no work to be seen here in Norway. First of all I stated that one of the things you generally have to have before you can get a job here is a complete education. That takes at-least 16 years if not more. You start school at 6, meaning you'd be done with school and education at the age of 22 earliest. Alternatively you can stop your education when you are 18-19 years old and settle with a terrible job and no real education. If you get a job on the outside of that then you know someone who can give you a job or you were lucky. (On the scale of winning in the lottery.)
Now getting a job in Norway is difficult from before and I live in the part of Norway which was "lucky" enough to win the hardest place to get a job in Norway
award. Most jobs that have open slots here tend to expire because the one who are hiring are looking for the "perfect" candidate and if they cannot get that they just don't bother to hire anyone. (Because the amount of money they'd gained wouldn't be enough unless the person they hired was 100% perfect for the job.) Now, I've been applying for jobs in 5 different cities, in total that is about 100 jobs.
All of those I applied to have expired and no one was hired for either of them. (That is just in the last year.) The ones I didn't apply for are those that specifically require a complete education. (Like a doctor or a mechanic.) Now as for education and studying. I am not a person who study a lot, not because I don't bother, but because it isn't needed. Regardless of how little I study, I normally get above average grades. Also education through school has lost all of its meaning. It is no longer about learning anything, but about passing. Most people go out of school and into work and it is only then that they learn something.
