Give a rating and your thoughts on any movies that you've seen, whether recently or otherwise.

Trollhunter - 9/10
I'm a sucker for the found footage and magical realism genres in general, and this film was particularly well put-together.  I also can't help but respect horror films that manage to be unsettling without jump scares.

Pumpkinhead - 6/10
A good part of this was the standard "college kids go to a cabin in the woods" horror movie shtick, but it did have enough variety to it to keep it at least somewhat interesting.

Primer - 9/10
I really liked the model of time travel presented in this movie—I'd not seen anything like it beforehand.  My only significant complaint was about the complexity of the plot progression; I had to pore over a fan-made timeline chart before it all fit together.  Not that I dislike complexity in movies, but still.

The Evil Dead - 4/10
That "college kids trapped in cabin in woods" trope was pretty much the whole premise of this film, and the laughably cheesy special effects didn't do much to add to it.

Videodrome - 7/10
I'm not too big on some of the more graphic content in this one.  Still, it does an excellent job of showcasing hallucinations and the breakdown of perceptual reality.  Plus, I like the aesthetic of VHS tapes and equipment, which this movie features prominently.

Les jeux sont faits. Nous sommes fucked.

I've hardly watched anything in my life, but I'll try to post about the ones I can remember.

The Good:

Paprika - 10/10
Coraline - 10/10
(I sure seem to like surrealism a whole lot)
GiTS - 9/10 (I watched it while multitasking and missed a lot of it but still great)
The Babadook - 10/10 (As a horror addict, this was the first movie to make me sleep with the lights on. That's saying a lot.)

The Bad:

Fight Club - 5/10 (Why do people love this so much again?)
Sunshine - 6/10 (It was fantastic until it turned into a run-of-the-mill slasher at the end for no good reason at all and that ruined it for me)

The Ugly:

Dead Space: Aftermath - 1/10 (Why did this movie happen to my eyes I was just an innocent Dead Space fangirl)

Empire Records: -420/10

it managed to give you horribly unlovable characters and forgot about the plot until the last 20 minutes.

if you ever feel down, just remember you have never done anything as awful as this movie.

Lucy: 1/10

it was rather short, scientifically inaccurate, and basically watching the main character get high

Fast & Furious 4-the newest: 1/10

I liked the first two, don't get me wrong, but it just became another generic garbage action film.

Star Wars Episode VII: 4/10

the plot was a complete rehash of Episode IV with a shit load of marketing attached.

Transformers (I've only seen the first one): 0/10

I literally fell asleep in the theater

I haven't seen a good movie in years

Black Swan -1/10 OMG I died 100 deaths while watching that with my gf and her mom. If my life was watching that movie I would end it quickly.

Guardians of the Galaxy 10/10 Just fun and awesome. Also, Micheal Rooker.

Crank 1 and 2 9/10 Stupid fun for awesome people. Does it make sense? Sure, in a Crank sort of way.

RWBY Vol 1 8/10 They say it's a "season," but it's actually a 2 hour long anime movie. The animation is cringey as fuck, but its story and characters are really REALLY fun.

Deadpool 6/10 It's not that great. It was directed quite well, but if you take a step back and look at the actual story, next to nothing actually happens, and Deadpool's 4th wall breaking makes the budget limitations and shallow story far to obvious. People like it now, but it will not be remembered fondly.

Anything "Wiewaskewverse" 10/10.
Kevin Smith take on any matter, from relationships to religion is fucking genius. Also a neat bunch of top notch casts.
Deadpool 5/10
It was sorta meh. It just doesn't feel like Deadpool is on the Deadpool lore anymore.
The Haunted House 4/10
Most jokes are forced and dumb. The "[any movie trend dissing] movie" got boring at Scary Movie 4.
I Love You Philip Morris 9/10
By far, the best role that Jim Carrey could have done in any movie. Evan McGregor is great too.

The Witch (6/10) They failed to implement the concept of "humans are the real monsters" in the horror setting. It was an above average thriller, but in the end, a lot of potential was wasted.
The House of the Devil (3/10) Extremely anti-climatic. An ending can make or break a show, and in this case, it broke the show.
