Two months after the iOS release, Fallout Shelter finally makes its way to Android devices. Along with it, a new update was released that fixed bugs and added in some new things, notably the robot butler known as Mr. Handy and the well-known Deathclaws.

Capcom has approved the Resident Evil 2 remake after the positive response from fans. It will be developed using the Unreal Engine 4.0 and produced by Yoshiaki Hirobyashi, the motion capture engeer for the remake of the first Resident Evil game and a producer for Resident Evil 6.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the Dark Souls series creator and president of From Software, sat down with Polygon to talk about the combat and bosses in Dark Souls 3. Miyazaki says that his aim to is avoid the "stereotypical" boss fights this time around, and he's aware that some of the previous bosses have a bad reputation from fans. He's added Battle Arts as an evolution to each weapon that will spice up the game even more, allowing for more choices when it comes to arming yourself.

Remember Sonic the Hedgehog? Well, saying "remember" doesn't make much sense since he recently starred in the smash hit Sonic Boom! Wait, did you say that Sonic Boom wasn't a smash hit? Lemme check MetaCritic... Oh, it's rated a 32. Yeah, so it sucked, eh? Well good news! Sega has released some classic, never before released Sonic games! Let me tell you about Sonic Dreams!

By now, you may have seen some very "unique" images of Sonic characters in compromising positions; however, this week, you may have seem them in places other than DeviantArt; they most likely came from Sonic Movie Maker.

This is one of the games you can enjoy in Sonic Dreams. Also, I lied. Sega probably has nothing to do with this game. A proclaimed "hacker super group" called Arcanekid$ recently uploaded this compilation featuring four games. Eggman Origin, My Roommate Sonic, a character creator, and the aforementioned Somic Movie Maker are all available for free as part of the collection. If you wish to download it, head over to hedgehog.exposed. Enjoy!

A long time ago I came across a fanfiction author who ended up admittedly writing a bit of smut work, but in it he had this one section of writing that I ended up keeping the quote and eventually had it printed and posted on my wall.

Since this is lewd I figured it would be a good place to share it, for this weeks thoughts.

Quote:You are a prostitute, Nabiki, and that's not a bad thing, no matter what anyone tells you. If I had to choose, I'd rather you gave up the racketeering and blackmailing and that sort of thing, and keep being a prostitute. Do you know why? It's something Madame Lao said to me once. She said that 'there are many ways to make a living in this world. You could steal, you could fight as a soldier, and you could teach others to fight.' She was talking about me at the time, and the way my life had been going so far; what Pop had been teaching me to be. 'But all those things hurt people, in one way or another. You'd be making it your life to bring people pain. Prostitutes spend their lives bringing people comfort, and that's something they can be proud of.'

An interesting concept from back in 2002, but even then I feel that this concept wouldn't work in today's society anywhere.

If any of you want the source to this feel free to PM me.

We cry 'open'~
Some of you probably know Kanon Wakeshima. In case you're wondering, she's the one who has performed theme songs of such shows as Strike the Blood, DanMachi, Shiki, Vampire Knight or Selector Infected/Spread WIXOSS. But have you ever heard of the last anime I listed? They revolve about girls fighting for their wishes via card battles. A movie of the same origin, named Selector Destructed WIXOSS, will be released on February 2016. It will feature all of the original cast, and the songs will yet again be performed by Kanon Wakeshima. If you want a taste of her abilities, you should probably check thisout.

Bullseye!
Okay while you might have not heard Kanon's songs yet, you most likely heard nano's songs, right? Right? She's that one American singer born in Japan... or a Japanese one born in America? Remind me to research before writing an article again. At any rate! She will perform a theme song for... Hidan no Aria AA! That's right, a spinoff (instead of a proper continuation, because that's how Kadokawa rolls) of the original series. The anime will air from this October onwards.

Diabolik Lovers... More Blood?
I'd write a proper article here. But I have watched the first season of this thing and I'd rather not. It will start airing this September. In case you needed more information to avoid it.

Issue #2: Lorn

Marcus Ortega, better known by his stage name, Lorn, is a milwaukee-based producer most well known for his captivating distorted sounds and conveyance of feelings in his songs, the most widely known being of relation to his name. Lorn has documented songs leading back as far as 2001 from his first collection of songs released, "Self Confidence". Self Confidence featured 83 songs, some finished, some not. Self confidence is known for where mostly the scraps go, and the polished diamonds out of the rough go to the album series known as "The Maze to Nowhere". There are currently 3 volumes of each, totaling well over 130 tracks. With such a long history of releases, we'll definitely be hearing more soon from this artist.

Audi partners with Samsung + LG to make new model to compete with Tesla

wired.com Wrote:AUDI WANTS TO build an all-electric SUV that will go 300 miles on a charge, and it’s working with Samsung and LG to get it done.
The South Korean companies are two of the world’s biggest producers of the lithium-ion batteries that power humanity’s growing pile of phones, laptops, and electric cars. Audi previously used battery cells from Sanyo and Panasonic to power its “e-tron” plug-in hybrid electric cars.
“This will allow us to supply a technological solution that makes electric cars even more attractive for our customers,” says Dr. Bernd Martens, a member of the board of management of Audi’s procurement division.

http://www.wired.com/2015/08/audis-plan-...ile-range/

Audi had enough of Tesla kicking ass in the electric vehicle category and wants to step in. They don't know crap about high quality lithium batteries, so they asked LG and Samsung to step in. I'm quite interested in how this car will perform against the Tesla model. We'll find out around 2017 or so.

Google releases second Stagefright patch for Android phones

tomshardware.com Wrote:Last week Google, Samsung, LG and other major smartphone manufacturers promised to patch the Stagefright vulnerabilities promptly, and some of them have already started to send the fixes over the air. However, according to researchers from Exodus Intelligence, the patch itself isn't a great one and still allows attackers to exploit the Stagefright media library.
Researchers from Zimperium initially found the vulnerabilities in Android's Stagefright video library, which affected an estimated 950 million users, and reported the problem to Google four months ago. One of the patches for the "Google Stagefright 'tx3g' MP4 Atom Integer Overflow" vulnerability was only four lines of code. Researcher Jordan Gruskovnjak from Exodus Intelligence noticed something might be wrong with that patch, but couldn't verify it until devices began receiving it from Google.
After the patch was sent to the Nexus 5, the researcher managed to create an MP4 file that would bypass the patch, and he received a crash message, which points to some level of success.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/android...29848.html

Welp. Google really fucked up. There was a major vulnerability in the Android operating system. It was possible to have access to a person's phone simply by having the person's phone number. They rolled out with a patch, but the patch didn't fix the problem! Eventually, Google managed to patch the patch they created. Nice one Google.

Xiaomi's $125 smartphone has same brain as the HTC One M9+

engadget.com Wrote:For those who don't know, Xiaomi has a budget line of smartphones called Redmi, but they've kind of fallen off our radar for some time. That's not the case with the latest model announced today. Following its predecessor, this Redmi Note 2 is sticking with the same 5.5-inch screen size but with a higher resolution of 1080p. What really caught our attention, though, is that despite the phone's $125 base price, it's powered by MediaTek's high-end Helio X10 chipset. That's the same octa-core silicon inside HTC's flagship M9+, which costs almost four times as much as the Redmi. The 13-megapixel f/2.2 main camera is also impressive, as it's one of the few in the smartphone market that does phase detection for faster auto-focus. Likewise, the 5-megapixel front camera should do well in the dark, thanks to its f/2.0 aperture and large 1.4um pixels.

http://www.engadget.com/2015/08/13/xiaom...helio-x10/

Xiaomi is coming out with a budget oriented smart phone that has some serious power. The Redmi Note 2 has a 1080p, 5.5 inch display with a base price of 125$. It's rocking the MediaTek Helio X10 chipset. Pretty kickass imo. Feel free to check the link for more details.

BQ's Ubuntu Bows on World Stage

technewsworld.com Wrote:BQ last week opened an Ubuntu global store accessible to anyone who wants to buy an Aquaris Ubuntu Edition handset.
BQ recently launched the BQ Aquaris E4.5 and E5 HD Ubuntu Edition smartphones in Europe.
Both BQ and Canonical, which provides commercial support for Ubuntu Linux, have acknowledged network frequency and mobile operator compatibility issues in some countries, including the U.S.
"The purpose is not to go to market now," said John Kourentis, manager of EMEA sales for Ubuntu Mobile at Canonical. Instead, the goal is to reach interested Ubuntu community members who would like to get a taste of the Ubuntu mobile experience.

http://www.technewsworld.com/story/BQs-U...82370.html

Looks like Ubuntu for mobile is finally becoming mainstream. The first OS was introduced in 2013 but wasn't very compatible. Networks weren't recognizing the OS accordingly. But after a few years, the OS is a lot more stable and consumer oriented.

Congratulations to Nano! She's come so far in the years, she used to be a utaite and she's so big now. <3
@Nanashi By the way, she's Japanese, born in Japan but moved to New York at a very young age. She can speak both Japanese and English fluently. :)

Also, thanks @Senpai for the quick mention at the end! :D
