Here is the 13th issue of the Lewd News, written by the Writers group.

Sorry it's a little late again. People were busy again.

I didn't hear from Riesu, so I took over the weekly kitsune this week.

Full Metal Alchemist... remember it? This masterpiece moved many people's hearts, but does anybody remember the studio behind it? That's right, studio BONES...

Unforeseen, this studio aspires to make a 2014 manga known wider by adapting it into anime. Whether they succeed or not is a different story, the premise of this series sounds promising.

Coming from external sources: "The manga's story is set in the modern day, except people with special powers have become commonplace throughout the world. A boy named Izuku Midoriya has no powers, but he still dreams of becoming a Hero."

Keep in mind, it has not yet been confirmed how much material will be covered. Hence, we may see a great title... or an unfinished portion.

Lots of music and feels... apparently, since I haven't watched the title yet - but that's what awaits you rather soon. Hibike! Euphorium, that anime with feels and trumpets and whatever else will be getting a sequel. And a film, too.

Obviously, the ones in charge of this project is again Kyoto Animation, so you'll get to see your quality blowing (instruments, duh!) waifu looking as fine as ever.

Sequel will cover the events after the first season, while the film will be a recap of the events from the TV series. The date has not yet been announced.

Incidentally, my opinion regarding this anime may be and probably is inadequate - so don't judge it based on that. It most likely deserves better.

Again and again and again... why do they even bother? Sword Art Online, you know it, and I'm betting everything even if you haven't seen it you've heard of it.

Now, in case you're behind the schedule, SAO already has two TV seasons. The first one was quite okay, but the other was honestly just terrible. And now they'll continue it by making a movie based on the events after the second season. Probably just a reminder that SAO still exists to make you hyped for the third season that's bound to get announced eventually.

Does it matter, anyway... I think not. It just comes and goes. Fanboys will stay and watch, haters will continue to hate, and normal people will disregard it. So yeah, nothing to see here, scroll on.

Frankly, what I wanted to mention here was the death of Matsuki Miyu - but it was already mentioned on the forums, so go ahead and check it out. What I'll write instead is something much lighter, of a smaller caliber. JoJo. And Full Metal Panic.

Right off the bat - that's what I can say about JoJo announcement. Yes, part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable will get an adaptation. I'm honestly not surprised - the TV series so far lived up to the expectations, and with the monstrous tempo they appeared, seeing this one is nothing new.

Albeit, it's still enough to leave you hyped, so if you haven't yet, check the previous seasons to get a small taste of the brilliant ridiculousness that awaits you soon.

Now then, who remembers Full Metal Panic? It's that military-like series that for some reason attracted the masses and is now one of the most redeeming comedies of the genre. It's rather old now, but who knew... yet another anime adaptation is coming our way!

Kind of sad no other details have been announced yet - no info regarding the topic of the adaptation, what material will it cover, who will cover it or - virtually anything. Still, seeing the success of it, I'm pretty buzzed up now that they're working on something actively. Still, I wouldn't know - as good as it might be, I haven't watched it. And having my long list of to-watch anime, I don't think I will anytime soon...

Unless you've seen it, then by all means tell me if it's worth a watch. The setting seems potentially great.

The Kickstarter for Muv-Luv: A Pretty Sweet Visual Novel Series, which I happen to be backing, is absolutely smashing its original goal! If you're not familiar with Muv-Luv, it's a visual novel series that started back in 2003 and had several sequels since then. This Kickstarter is for the relaunch and localization of the entire series, making it available on PC and the Playstation Vita. With an initial goal of $250,000, the project now stands at over $950,000! I witnessed the amount go up almost $10,000 in just a few hours. With just over 2 days to go as of this writing, They may very well exceed the million dollar mark. If you're at all interested, head over to: Muv-Luv Kickstarter. They have sweetened the pot on many of their award tiers, and made a few new ones available, so if you're interested, there's no time like the present!

In other news, at Paris Games Week, it was announced that Katsuhiro Harada would be appearing in Street Fighter 5. Who is this new character? A mysterious person who works with Akuma? Perhaps a fellow military member sent in to work with Guile and Cammy? Nope. He's the executive producer for Tekken. Yep. Some guy who made one fighting game is going to be the final boss in a different fighting game. Oh, didn't I mention that? the rumor is that he's in the game and the final boss.

And lastly, let us once again thank @Lokorifi for bringing this to my attention. David "emotions" Cage is making a new game!!! The idea was based off of a tech demo/trailer for the PS3.

Well, Mr. theCage has come up with uh... *ahem* a "story" to go along with that video and turned it into a full game slated to be released exclusively for the PS4! The game is called Detroit. It involves an android with artificial intelligence who thinks she's alive. It's a totally original concept, and it's definitely not science fiction! It's "emotions" as Cage says.

Issue #13: Mr. Carmack - White EP

Honolulu native, Aaron Carmack just released a new collection of songs in the form of his new 'White' EP. This comes with 6 new tracks including some previously released songs such as 'blowing money fast' and his remix of GoldLink's 'Dance On Me'. The previously unheard tracks come as no suprise from the seasoned producer, bring us back to his familiar, yet distinguished sound. All in all it seems the veteran has managed to secure yet another EP under his belt, and hopefully more to come.

OnePlus X Revealed
engadget.com Wrote:From the moment you pick up the OnePlus X, it's hard not to think about the iPhones of yesteryear. There's no denying it: there's a whiff of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 to this new handset. But that's not necessarily a criticism. It's been a while since those phones were Apple's crème de la crème, and there's a certain sophistication to the X's glass back and rounded corners. Turning it over in my hands, it certainly doesn't feel like a $249 phone. OnePlus has paid attention to the details: the metal frame, for instance, has 17 "micro-cuts" to make it a little grippier. The alert slider, which lets you switch between three notification profiles, has a different finish so you can find it in your pocket without looking.

The OnePlus X has just launched. The reviews are underwhelming. Their latest phone, the OnePlus 2, was a complete hit. The phone was completely off shelves for months after the debut. This made competing for the OnePlus X tons harder. Not many improvements were made to the phone. Battery life was improved among other things. Feel free to read the article to learn more about the OnePlus X. I'd personally get the OnePlus 2 still.

AMD rumoured to be using GDDR5x on new 14nm GPUs
kitguru.net Wrote:Recently, we have been hearing quite a bit about GDDR5x, with rumors suggesting that Nvidia intends to use it in addition to HBM2 on its Pascal graphics cards next year. Now it would seem that AMD is also planning a similar move, with GDDR5x rumored to appear on its new 14nm graphics cards next year while we wait for HBM to become more widely available.
Right now, it is believed that AMD has priority access to HBM2, which may already be in fairly limited supply, which means there is still some room left in the market for GDDR5. According to a presentation by a DRAM maker, which leaked on to the web (Via: Techpowerup), GDDR5x will offer double the data-rate per memory access. GDDR5x is also believed to bring new speeds of up to 12Gbps initially, which is a significant improvement over the 7Gbps we are used to seeing on current GDDR5 chips. The big thing is that GDDR5x will use the same pins as GDDR5, which should make it easy for GPU makers to implement without needing to develop new designs.
From the way things are going, it sounds like GDDR5x will replace GDDR5 for both AMD and Nvidia on lower end graphics cards, while top-end GPUs will feature the more energy efficient HBM2. This is all rumor for now though, we should learn more about AMD and Nvidia’s future architecture plans as we move in to 2016.

AMD is rumored for using GDDR5x video ram on their future cards. Obviously all this is all speculation, nothing has been confirmed by AMD. So please take this post with a grain of salt. HBM is notoriously hard to make because it's so expensive and takes much more time to manufacture. This is because the die has 3D ram architecture. This also means that only 4 gigabytes was available on the Fury X cards. I really hoped AMD would announce a 6 gigabyte variant of the Fury X cards, but this seems less and less plausible. So basically, AMD doesn't have the resources or the time to make HBM cards. They are looking towards GDDR5x ram to solve their problems.

G.SKILL announces Ripjaws DDR4 SO-DIMM kits
hexus.net Wrote:G.SKILL, the performance PC memory and peripherals specialist company, has announced the addition of DDR4 SO-DIMM module kits as part of its Ripjaws range. These modules are designed to provide the maximum performance and reliability in your laptop or AiO system, or basically any PC system which employs compact SO-DIMMs. The new Ripjaws DDR4 SO-DIMMs are said to be hand-picked via G.SKILL's "rigorous and highly selective binning process". Thus G.SKILL has been able to assemble 'extreme performance' kits at up to 2800MHz 64GB (4x16GB).

Matched memory kits are marketed at the headline 2800MHz in capacities of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32 GB and 64GB. Kits are also being produced, in the same range of capacities, rated at speeds of 266MHz, 2400MHz, and 2133MHz. Please refer to the table below for all kit configurations.

GSKILL announced DDR4 SO-DIMM memory at up to 2800mhz. Why is this so interesting? It's because this memory is so damn fast for how small it is. GKILL saw there was a gap for high performance DDR4 laptop ram and swooped into the market. I personally dislike the idea of a “gaming oriented” laptop but I respect the companies that make the products. This memory will also be great for high performance productivity laptops with the new Skylake cpus. The 2011-V3 processors never got to the laptops, and for good reason, so DDR4 SO-DIMM memory was never made until now.

Titanfall goes mobile: Respawn and Nexon team up for iOS and Android spin-offs
http://www.polygon.com Wrote:Respawn Entertainment is teaming up with free-to-play online game maker Nexon to bring the Titanfall franchise to mobile devices in 2016. The companies announced a "multi-game, multi-year" partnership today that will bring "several new and original" Titanfall games to Android and iOS platforms in the coming years.

Collaborating with Respawn and Nexon on Titanfall mobile games is Particle City, a Los Angeles-based studio co-founded by Respawn's Vince Zampella and industry veteran Larry Pacey.

Particle City is the new name of a studio announced last year that was previously called Nuclear Division. Respawn owns "a big chunk" of Particle City, Zampella said, with Nexon also jointly invested in the studios in connection with the partnership.

Zampella, who's serving as a creative advisor at Particle City, likened the new developer to a "sister studio" to Respawn.

It looks like Respawn Entertainment expected more out of their game Titanfall. Sales for the game did... well. It was nothing to speak of but a profit was made. Respawn Entertainment might be looking into the mobile genre of games because they are collaborating with Nexon to make mobile titles. I honestly love Titanfall, the game is only multiplayer and is heavily based on player experience. The death cards were kinda bullshit but I think the core idea of the game was great. Respawn made a game I dearly love, COD 4, and I was really angry that they teamed up with EA. That company is a piece of shit (in my opinion). EA is only for the money, not for their fans.

Our new theme has been held back a little. There's a concept I want to play with first; that I feel would be more beneficial if I can pull it off.

I can't wait to see the next gen of graphics cards, will Nvidia have GDDR5X be on all of their gpus? Will AMD have GDDR5X on their low end range?

I have a feeling that Nvidia will have HBM for their kickass tiers of cards and GDDR5X vram for their regular tier cards.
