Do any of you keep a Calendar or some sort of planner? How do you manage jobs, appointments and just keeping your shit together in general.

Any tips on maximum productivity in this thread would be awesome.

I just use the Google Calendar app on my phone. Alternatively, if you want something simpler, there's a nifty little Android app called "Final Countdown", that basically lets you set countdown clocks as widgets on your home screen.

Aside from that, some of the best advice I can give is to get important things done early. Whether it's studying for an exam or filing your taxes, nothing's worse than rushing at the very last minute.

I use Trello as a to-do list for most of the things I do. It's really nice and full-featured, and helps me keep on top of things.

I should probably use something like this. As it stands I'm pretty bad at keeping myself on top of little things. Appointments and such I'm on point with simply because I don't want to have to go through the social interaction of making a second appointment.

Start now! I have a simple "To-Do", "Doing", "Done" list on one board and it works great for me. I have an "Ideas" column too for those random ideas I might want to follow up on sometime.

This is the best, yet simple, way to organize stuff I have found.

I'll set it up, but I falter easily and have no faith I'll keep myself to my appointed times. Which sucks.

I used to keep all in my memory, all the deadlines and everything. But that has not worked very good so far, it's been a disaster. So I'm probably going to start using a calendar or something, with mobile notifications.

would you use something like trello or do you like having a physical calender to write in (which is pretty cool)?

If you set it up on your phone so that the to-do Trello board is on your phone's homescreen it's a lot harder to forget.

Got it both on my phone and open in my browser. Here's to hoping I can keep to my own word.

I make a list. Any tasks that I think of that would be a good idea to complete, I write down. It feels good to cross shit off, so it works for me.

I happen to do that with my schoolwork. Sometimes with doctors appointments too.

For the most part I stuck to it. I faltered at about 2AM when I decided fuck it I'd rather play Borderlands 2 than study for my mid term. But, I think that was to be expected of a simpleton like me.

I downloaded an app called Habitica, it looks pretty interesting; might fiddle around with it later.

Basically gamified task management.

I've been using an app called LifeRPG to keep track of things, although you still need to remember to check or set reminders whenever you make a new task.
I forgot to check and didn't set a reminder, so here I am awake at 2:20am doing a math assignment due at 8am.

I hardly ever use my stock calendar in my phone, I mean, I never write reminders or other things because I don't do that stuff, if I do, I will forget easily or my phone WILL NOT notify me about that, I'm a mess I know.

Just about an hour or two ago, I installed a customizable Site Blocker to curb my bad habit of unthinkingly opening Reddit every couple minutes. I found that I was a lot happier and more articulate when I didn't subscribe to junk-humor sites like that.

As you can tell, it's worked out splendidly thus far.

I do this too! I think I got into the habbit during the end of summer holidays where I was pretty much bored and demotivated all day. I'm trying to get back into a focussed mindset, but I just blocked it into the hosts file.

I'll probably end up creating a pomodoro-style tool which locks me out of certain websites and certain programs when i'm trying to concentrate.
