I remember conversations about possibly getting a user to take control over JP as @Asada isn't around to run it back to its highly recommended activity. Can we hopefully get the group running now. I wouldn't mind taking the flag as it would probably get me to do something productive (until Asada comes back.)

Note: Not sure if this is the best place to post.  Thought Meta in this sub-board would be good. Feel free to move if not.

you could start by making a poll (though i don't know exactly where the jp group forum is or who is in it) and see who wants to lead the group and people can vote on that

Dunno who is currently active in the board as with @Asada not around, people cannot join the group.  So unless we can get intervention from either @Ayu or @Senpai (become temp until poll? ), probably that would be a good idea to do a poll. Hopefully someone comes to the occasion and bring the group back to its active state.

I feel like a number of dead groups could benefit from this. Perhaps we could impose some responsibilities for group owners? If they haven't logged on in, say, two or three months, the mods oughta hold a referendum on whether to make it public.

Still waiting for an administrative response with @Senpai

@Senpai is going to reply eventually (I just asked him) so just hold out for a while

The group will probably get deleted, the group subforum has no posts or anything.

Can I have it and full access seeing nothing has been done with it @Senpai? It would be a bit redundant to just delete it as I would just have to recreate it (no system to make groups yet?) Got many ideas to probably make it become a good group.
