Daily reminder that a pretentious 12 years old kid being a massive dick to an innocent 12 years old kid caused:
>a cursed blood line
>vampires everywhere
>the nazis messing around with the stone mask and awakening the masters
>crazy people with super powers all around the fucking world
>a serial killer with a hand fetish bombing citizens so hard they get stuck in a time loop
>a fashionable group a gangsters start killing other evil gangsters until one of them gets a power-up so broken he kills the mafia boss so hard he dies to death
>the reset of the motherfucking universe
>a group a homoerotic cowboys and terrorist searching all around America in an epic quest to find all the pieces of Exodia the Forbidden One. Also the president of the United States rapes a 14 years old girl.
>a dude with 4 balls

Since I've gotten no replies so far, I'll make another post about how to get into JoJo.

4chan's guide explains pretty much everything you'd need to know and gives handy links for your convenience: http://pastebin.com/qzDMjL87

Do not be intimidated by JoJo's large size. It's been running since the late 80's and is now on its 8th part. I'm personally only early on into the 7th part. What's key to understanding here is that JoJo is more of a life long project of Araki which goes through different parts focused on new main characters through the Joestar bloodline. Parts 1 through 3 have been very faithfully adapted by David Production and are a decent replacement for the manga (although a lot of the fanculture is based around the manga).

Part I: Phantom Blood; featuring the fraught and bloody relationship between usurper Dio Brandoand hero Jonathan Joestar. Attrition between Jonathan's descendants (each identifiable as "JoJo") and their allies and Dio's followers characterizes a broad continuity to this series: In Part II, Jonathan's grandson Joseph combats the Pillar Men, creators of the Stone Mask which granted Dio his Vampiric powers; in Part III, Joseph's grandson Jotaro combats Dio's army of Stand users before Dio himself; in Part IV, Joseph's son Josuke faces a host of new Stand users in his community in Morioh, Japan; in Part V, Dio's son Giorno fights for his position atop the mafia hierarchy in Italy; and in Part VI, Jotaro's daughter Jolyne battles Enrico Pucci, Dio's acolyte.

I hope this post has convinced at least one person to pick this iconic series up.
