I am completely against moving to IRC since you have to install a third-party application (also just installing IRC clients in general) in order to get what Discord already provides; same thing that Kuso said, you cannot view any messages from before or after you are logged in.
Moving on to the poll, there should be an undo button, since I'm really undecided with the current options. Just count my vote as "not IRC" (not that my vote will count anyway; only 57% of people are getting what they want, presumably less).

Voted for IRC :3 It's the comfiest option for me.

Do we have a channel already?

Edit: BTW. why not add a bot to the channel that logs it and saves it somewhere for all those who want to read what happend in it while they and their client were gone?

Another thing that kinda annoys me tn with you pushing irc so much right now, is that when I used to offer an irc server back when we had that player.me group chat. I was literally the only person on it after a week or two. Now you're pushing for one here, but you weren't using it anymore than anyone else, which kinda makes me continue thinking that all the irc shit you're doing is pretty much nostalgia for irc from when it was the shit.

Otherwise, I kinda agree with Saikou, considering there are arguments being placed around, there is the possibility that some people might have voted first, and then as the arguments flow, might wish to change their position on which platform they want, and considering there isn't a "change vote" button, they can't do so, and their votes are stuck where they were first cast.

Either way, that doesn't change the fact that I'm not going on IRC. It's taking a step backwards rather than forward. Sure Discord has issues right now, but it's in constant development, in fact you could say it's more like an alpha version currently than an actually release version, which explains some bugs and issues from time to time.

And that's the last thing I'll say about this thing. Knowing how inactive I usually am on the forums, I might just be seen even less with this "move to irc" thing. See you.

I still remember barely having any free time; I still have your server bookmarked to visit but you were never able to get more than few people on at a time.

Don't take offense but Senpai is a lot better about promoting this kind of thing and getting it used than you are/were.

IRC has more features than Discord; including much needed features, like muting users.

Discord might be in development, but that development seems to be really slow; and isn't focused on important features.

I'll be installing this, which removes the following reasons people are against IRC:

>you have to download a client

>no auto-expanding images
>no message history

I don't think there was any more issues? If there was, let me know, and Subway might cover them too :3
