Ive been wanting to get started on this anime series. Would you recommened it to me? Why? What kind of anime is it? Is it more of a serious watch or a comedy one? Is it bound to get me hooked? I would love all feedback for this anime. :)

I'd recommend watching the first arc and then after that just dropping it because it becomes the same old same old formula. Ichigo meets bad guy, bad guy kicks his ass, goes away for a bit and comes back, kicks badd guy ass, rinse and repeat.

"From the perspective of others I am part of the world, but when I observe the world from my perspective I am nowhere to be found. To observe is to create perspective. I can never cease to be the point of origin from my perspective. I observe that which is not myself. This is the first principle to find." - Ergo Proxy

If you like fighting scenes, cool attacks, cool outfits, and cool power ups, then Bleach is worth trying. I picked up Bleach because I love Shonen mangas and I like just the coolness and the fighting scenes with lighting bolts and reiatsus, etc. If you like stories or romance, however, I don't think this is for you. As the poster above me said, the formula is pretty staightforward and I know the author tried to make some battle to be intelligent strategic battle but it doesn't work. Oh, and the author is lazy.

I'm about halfway through the series and I'm struggling to find the motivation to finish it.  I love the story and the characters but all the filler arcs are just grueling to get through. My recommendation to you would be either skip all the filler arcs and just stick to the main story, or read the manga.

edit: And to answer your question, Bleach is really balanced between comedic moments and very serious moments, but still has plenty of both. Also, if you aren't hooked by the main story throughout the first season, then the anime isn't for you.

Here is a tip, drop the anime and just stick to the manga. Several reasons for this actually. The manga has no fillers and Bleach has no good filler arcs, but it does have plenty of them. Secondly is that the anime ended years ago, while the manga is still on-going to this date. Aside from that, the manga doesn't suffer from awful censoring either, but the anime does it painfully often. An example, Ishida breaks his arm in the anime, he flat out loses it in the manga. That made a completely different impact on several characters and the story. (That small thing alone.)

Thanks for all the feedbacks on this. I like anything that seems to be good. But I am more on the comedy in everything. Maybe you have suggestions for a comedic anime. I wanna watch something thats got a good plot, awesome characters and to not bore me into not finishing it. :)

Then you read Bleach, as its far less repetitive and more humor in it compared to the anime.

If your going to offer me a first time read in the manga world. Besides bleach, what would be your suggestions? I will be a newbie to manga reads.

Well any popular manga is recommended (I mean they are popular for a reason). To list a few (aside from Bleach);
  • Tokyo Ghoul / Tokyo Ghoul RE;
  • Naruto
  • Ao No Exorcist
  • Horimiya
  • Hellsing
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Death Note
  • Black Clover
  • World Trigger
  • D. Gray-Man

I keep seeing Fullmetal Alchemist but i haven't seen it yet. I'll get on that by tomorrow. Ill try the manga this time before the anime. I know naruto is good but Ive lost interest sad to say. The only anime that has unlimited episodes is One Piece.

Fullmetal Alchemist manga is beautiful! Also, I swear, the Naruto manga is far superior to the anime.

I will take your word for it. I'll surely be posting my thoughts while I will read through it. I think I want to start the Fullmetal alchemist first though since Naruto is just that long and I don't have much time anymore.
