How do all of you find the time to watch so much anime?

I am personally a huge fan of anime and all, but I find it impossible to ever watch it between work, school and my personal life; I just watch it when I can find the time for it.
So, I was wondering -- How do you find the time to watch a lot of anime? Is anyone else in a similar situation as me ?

For me, I simply ignore homework for a few hours and bingewatch episodes. But that's during the school term. In summer, I just watch it over every few days. It's funny how much more active I am in watching anime when I'm supposed to be focusing on schoolwork.

Perhaps it is because anime can work as a stress reliever; school work can stress you out, and anime can de-stress you (or at least distract you).
You are probably just trying to get your mind off the stress of a student's life by distracting yourself with other things.

Just a hunch.

Now that I mention it, you're probably right. It's probably how I passed most of my exams (just barely.)

I did this a few years ago when I didn't have a job, but now that I have a job I basically work every day.
I miss sitting around and doing nothing (gaming, anime, etc.) Enjoy it while it lasts!

I wouldn't feel bad about it, I did it too and probably will again.

Lose a few hours of sleep. Loosing 2 hours of sleep a night, you can get through a normal series in 2 days.

I disregard my life. My friends (that I know personally), my family, the only people I have contact with are my girlfriend, my gecko, and the people I talk to online. Between that time is anime, programming, working on my computer, or whatever else I find to take up my time.

Yeah, I don't really watch that much anime. When I do watch it, it goes as follows....  I go to the gym, come home, have a protein shake and re-hydrate while watching 1 - 2 episodes.  Or, I get done with work, feel too tired to go to the gym, get a shower, watch 1-3 episodes while drinking my sorrows away.

Now take anime and replace it with video games, and that's also how I get any play time in.

Hosnetly, I never had time for anime and kept watching it until finally been watching it for years and got now nothing to watch but read light novels/manga and watch ongoing anime.

It's simple.

Just use school time, relax time, and your sleep time.

Best thing to do, watch anime all the day without sleeping, and when u go to school, sleep in class, I didnt even feel we had school, and just return home to watch anime, I did that for few days though, and stopped, you probably know why I stopped, don't even need to explain xD

That probably isn't healthy for your social life.

I did that as well for awhile there in a certain class, that quickly changed for obvious reasons as well. >.<
I also used to walk to school every day just so that I could watch anime on my phone for an hour whilst walking.

Damn NEET, get a job!
I am joking, relax.
No, seriously. Please calm down.

Sir, I am going to have to ask you to step outside.

In all seriousness, there is nothing wrong with that as long as you are still going to school. Well, that's my professional opinion on the matter anyway.

I never had any trouble finding the time for it. I usually watch up to 12 episodes (tho usually 4-7) each night. The reason is because I don't even need that much sleep, and I can cope just fine having 2-3 hours of sleep a night. Been like that for 4 years now with no significant changes in health or anything so I don't care, I just roll with it.

It's summer vacation right now, but even during school I usually don't get homework done or I get it done last minute. My friends and I don't hangout that often, like once, maybe twice so I'm usually home. I'm also unemployed so there's that, living the NEET life during summers.

I tend to sacrifice hours where I'm supposed to focus on studies or sleep, especially sleep. During school terms I usually have an average sleep time on 5 hours (If I'm lucky). But now the last few weeks before summer vaccation it sunk to 3-2 hours of sleep. (And sometimes 20 minutes of sleep, on days when I'm supposed to have school ._.) That combined with extra classes and stuff on the noon, so basically my freetime on on the night, instead of sleeping. But I don't recommend it at all, and I will never do it again (Had my lesson this last school term), I was very stressing and I almost burned myself out.

Because in the end, pushing forward your homework, essays, exams and stuff. It will haunt you in the end, like a fire hehe. I usually save all my deadlines to the last minute, and then I mean literally the last minute. If not even later. I will never do that again, well I hope so (and that I've learned my lesson). But now in the recent period of time, I've started to watch less episodes of anime (Less bingewatching). Basically less anime, it's a bit exhausting sometimes to finish a whole show in one night (As I sometimes used to do).

And haha now I have summer vaccation, I can watch anime; netflix of whatever entertainement I got, and watch it for the whole day. I don't really have anything else to do, maybe the same case as Equinox, I pretty much only have one irl friend within proximity that I hang out with.

tl;dr no sleep, slack off in school, not a lot of friends = much anime.

I currently don't have time to watch anime right now, my backlog just keeps piling up more and more. I only really have enough time to read manga nowadays.

I've been busy doing other things recently. Since April I've been able to finish I think six series on and off?
I'm actually a really big fan of anime, and I can actually relate to right now.

I think Lokorfi is right, I'm the same as him I guess. I watch a lot more anime on school days than I do on the holidays.
I kind of skip homework for anime, but I won't be able to do that soon. ;3; So I guess I won't be able to watch as much anime.

During the summer I have a lot of free time so I just watch it when ever I feel like it, but during the school year I can only watch it at night or on the weekends.

I find to watch a few episode of anime or read some manga an hour or so before sleeping to be quite relaxing, so that's when I usually do it. Rarely, if I'm on holiday with a free slack day at home I'll do a marathon.

I haven't been watching much recently, skipped the entire summer season acctually...
But when I do watch, I don't really make time for it.
I do everything else during the day and binge watch a series at a time when I should be sleeping.
Makes for interesting mornings and lots of coffee
