Is there a chrome version of this? A lot of us use that instead of Firefox nowadays.

If you care about privacy you use IceCat, which is basicly free firefox + some plugins.

For some reason Linux version had Windows in general.useragent.override though.

Also https://startpage.com/ might be better than duckduck. But that's for you to decide.

Nope. This is why I love Firefox. Won't be finding about:config in chrome (or any settings/preferences with this many options in GC rather). You could put the two together, make some sort of hybrid browser (@Shiro), name it ChromeFox or FireGoogle.

I'll consider using firefox when e10s isn't buggy as fuck. Chrome is just so much smoother.

IceCat has a good concept and everything but it is rarely updated which leads to security issues. Pale Moon should be used actually, they also have a nice selection of Privacy/Security addon's too.

This. I did hear that Adblock Plus ended up being a sellout, and uBlock Origin is the next best thing, if not better than ABP and any other Adblock clone.

This info-graphic could use some serious updates but the concept of it is still good. I personally suggest using uBlock Origin.

This guide is probably old. Adblock Plus can be replaced by uBlock as some other posts said, and NoScript with uMatrix. And in the configs, better use this: https://github.com/crisbrm/user.js instead of dealing with the about:config yourself.

Origin:

1. Go to Google.com
2. Type: "Firefox /g/uide"
3. Found this one: http://www.logicalincrements.com/firefox/
4. Follow the guide.

I also use Firefox Development edition for some reasons: debugging, design, and stuff.

Forked Chromium also nice. As long you understand what you doing.
