This is completely legit and legal. Any of you remember Blockbuster? I doubt it, but basically it's like gamefly. You pay money to rent a game for a week or so.
Basically Gamestop offers this same service, but essentially it's free. They have a 7 day return policy on all used games. This means rinse and repeat.

What you need:
-Money
-Reliable Transportation

I'll give you two different scenario's:
1) You heard the new Wolfenstein is pretty dope, but don't want to cash out $30 to play it's 10 hour campaign. Simple. Spend $30 on the pre-owned game. Beat it within a week or 7 days and return it. You have the option to either get your money back or exchange it for a different game. So let's say you want to exchange it for Titanfall which is $10 used. You would then get $20 back in cold hard cash. Essentially you need money to play games, but you'll get your money back in a week and you'll get to play the game as if you rented it. In the end it will cost you nothing.
2) If you own a soft modded wii with any of the applications like wiiloader or usbloader you have the option to download those games to your console. So you can 'rent' a game, then return it the following day. You keep the game and you keep the money. Free games forever. I can get down to that.

So why would you ever purchase a new game again? Good question. If it's PC exclusive.

If I saved you any money at all, I'd love some credits. But again this method is free and completely legit, so you don't have to give me anything.
:yay:

Lol, actually it's not. Currently own Super Paper Mario, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Brawl, Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2, etc.... all downloaded on to my wii. Spent $40 originally, got $22 back since then... since I ended up buying Skate 3. Did you hear they're gonna be making a Skate 4?
Gotta be prepared :D

Yeah, I've already mentioned to them that I'm making use of their return policy. It's not like I'm breaking any rules by doing this.
Next time you get anything from Gamestop check the back of their receipt. It clearly says that you can bring back any used game for any reason in 7 days for a complete refund or exchange.

Wow what a juicy method. Couch for Guts.

I actually did this a while back, since I didn't like some games.

Posted this on Hf.... just gonna copy it lol
So, I went into EB Games (Gamestop for all you Americans) and I traded in Halo 5 and like 2 other shitty games to get about $60 of trade in credit. If I was to withdraw this in cash then I would have got the $60, because I used it in the store then I got an extra 20%, because I had a membership card on level 2 then I got an extra 10%. I wanted to get Quantum Break, EB Games has a deal that if you trade towards a preorder you get another 30%. I don't know how it all worked out really with the math but because of another deal and discount I got like $114 in total - but $100 of that was going to Quantum Break so I had $14 left over and I put that towards something else.
The pre-order copy came with Alan Wake, Alan Wake American Nightmare and a Steelbook.
I got Quantum Break and I clocked the 10 hour campaign in like 3 or 4 days. I then went back to EB Games to trade it in for maximum value and because I was returning it within 3 days I got a full $100 refund IN CASH.

So lets just rewind here, I got to play and complete a pre order game; I got 2 free Xbox 360 game download codes, got a free steelbook and $100 in cash. I could've got $60 in cash to start with but I just waited like 7 days and got all that. I feel like I won here tbh.... The only thing I had to return was Quantum Break which I was fine with bc I wasn't gonna play it again. Also got an extra $14 and put it towards Dark Souls 2 lol :P

I don't know much of how things work at EB Games... but sadly, Gamestop only accepts complete refunds on pre-owned games :(

But I have no idea how that was legit on your end, lmao
