Here is a list of websites that you can get freebies and find giveaways from. It can be for various items (household, hygiene, food, etc.) If you live somewhere outside the US (United States) than some of these deals may or may not work. 
I'll update this thread every so often, feel free to suggest other websites to add.

Native Instruments usually gives out stuff on holidays and Reaktor, Kontakt and Guitar Rig Players are free, along with some nice stuff like Mikro Prism and some guitars to use.

If you have T-Mobile as your cell service provider you can get free stuff from them every Tuesday. Not sure if it's US only or not, but check it out here: https://explore.t-mobile.com/t-mobile-tuesdays

I got free tickets to see the Warcraft movie with it.

Not really adequate compensation for one of the worst cell service ever, but hey free stuff.
