I'm one of those graphic designers that don't really know how to draw. All I had was a 14 day course that taught me some really basic figure drawing, and perspective. Which helped me with observation but I can't draw creatively yet so everything here is copy-drawn from references.

I'll update the thread as I continue my journey.

My first drawing, took around 40 mins. ~4 inches tall.
Was especially hard to get the eyes matching, as well as having the hair look natural.

Day 2, also took around 40 mins. ~4 inches tall.
Guy hair is significantly harder than girl hair. Though managed to get lines a bit cleaner.

A few days later, forgot how long this took.
Tried to draw a character consistently at 3 different angles. Was too lazy to do the hair... Improvised a bit on the eyes this time.

I'm drawing with a simple 0.5 HB mechanical pencil on a sketchbook. Nothing fancy.
I'll consider using some Prismacolor's in the future.

Looks like you've already got the basic sketchwork and head anatomy down, good luck!

I'm looking forward to how your skills turn out in the future. I've wanted to draw, but never had the motivation to.

For someone that doesn't know how to draw, you've done a pretty good job. c:

Needs more attention. Really good job on those. With the last pic, middle one, the right eye should be a tad more to the right, you pretty much nailed the rest, though! Keep it up.
Not that I'm one to talk since I don't even know how to draw well.
