immediately the hour it comes out in Japan. That, and the convenience factor of having everything personalized for you: It keeps track of which episodes you've watched and at what minute/second you stopped if you left, you can build your own queue just like Netflix/Hulu, (I have 29 shows on my to-watch list right now, way more than I ever did on other streaming services) EVERY show will stream in 1080p with premimum, you can easily get your anime/manga through the mobile apps... Also one thing I noticed when I was watching Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya on other sites was that sometimes the uploads were broken, like the same episode would get uploaded twice in a row and one would get skipped, or the streaming site would just be down for maintenance. I've never once had any availability/outage issues since I started using Crunchyroll. Also if you are into collecting anime figures and merch, (I don't have the money for that, they cost hundreds of dollars each) you get special discounts from their online store for being a premium member.
