Code Geass (english dubbed) is an absolutely astounding animated series. Its strengths abound, from its intricate and interesting plot full of strong and well-developed characters, to its gorgeous visuals that transport you to a beautiful world. Even the audio is mellifluous, with undoubtedly some of the best sound effects I have ever experienced in any anime. Any minor flaws in plot or storyline are simply blown away by the astounding combination of visuals, audio, and brilliant storytelling. Plot twists keep the show constantly entertaining and its sheer excellence in being able to continuously excite the viewer is one that should be studied by anyone wishing to match such quality. One viewing is all it takes to realize the immense amount of work Bandai Entertainment put into creating a believable, beautiful, and beloved series that fans have justifiably raved about.

If this review gets you to watch the series, GOOD. That's exactly what anyone who considers themselves a fan of animated series should do. Watch Code Geass and support a show that delivers ultimate entertainment value that extends over repeated viewings. Truly, every second spent creating this show was a magical one.

No show is perfect, but Code Geass is as close as humanity can possibly hope to achieve.
