I have to set up my old scheme from where I left off, my "Tokyo Express" scheme will be my fallback in case anyone wants for a survival challenge after a regular game.

I'll be there in about a half-hour or so.

Hmm... Seems like we've still got firewall problems. Say Luci, any chance you could look into this for us? :<

It's says on the Public Networks on my Control Panel "Not Connected" despite that I allowed Worms Armageddon in on both home and public ends. Disabling it doesn't seem to work as it is too risky. It must've been screwed up somehow when I was doing routine performance checks on my computer prior to having an unrelated game, it used to be not displaying that before. And I'm not going to try anything too fancy to make workarounds. >.<

We usually do this on Saturdays or Sundays depending on our moods, Worms is from the U.K. so we have to use their timezone as a means to stage our games. If you have it but you don't know how to, I recommend doing some time on training lessons to get you acquainted with the game as it doesn't give you actual control tutorials and then come up with a useful name for WORMNET to recognize you and a country flag. You'll need eight members in case of a full team match, even though most games only use fewer worms. Once you have a team proper along with other fine-tuning settings, you're all set. You may need the latest version of the game so you won't wind up with issues.

Sometime usually around 17:00 to 21:00 GMT are the usual times on those days is when we come down here with a reminder post hours ahead of schedule. Only six people can join a single game at any time unfortunately as far as player cap is concerned. There are two hosts, but only one can be here to host our games when the situation calls for it. If I am around, I always try to find the right amount of fun and seriousness of tactics and take players on amazing locations at the expense of 33% reduced time each turn and round length to reduce darksiding, and everyone's health dips straight to one for a quick finish. When Malmon shows up and is the host just in case, it involves realism by having instant-mines, moderate health but all collectibles have 100% chance of showing up, 33% extended turn and round length, and when time runs out, a nuke drops on everyone with a very fast water rise rate on top of it.

Spoiler

"Lightsiding" is a tactic that involves pushing your team beyond reasoning and safety limits and is the advancing force valuing honor and getting the most kills as soon as the turn starts, but it does come at cost to RNG positioning or bad timing of moves. They worship the Concrete Donkey and save up on supplies until late in the match or round. "Darksiding" is a tactic that is the opposite by playing hide-and-seek, digging holes, erecting defenses as protection and would rather wait for an opportunity to strike than just going for it simply by delaying the opposition for as long as possible. They're not afraid to use superweapons as soon as they grab it, at a cost of being afraid to die so early and often noobish in letting things play out and worships the Buffalo of Lies, yet in Armageddon, it is the title's own weapon itself as a meteor strike. This is often a tactic the A.I. employs in single-player and deathmatches.

thanks! i think i'll get training soon since i haven't played it before ^_^'

I might look into hosting in case Luci and Malmon are unable to do it this week.

Looks like it's that time of the year where I have pretty much nothing to do until exams :>

My final exams start this Saturday, first thing in the morning, unfortunately. I'm done with them all by Wednesday though. Looking forward to some well-needed relaxation and hopefully some equally well-needed Worm games.
