Yes, funny thing people seem to don't know is that his father is a radical muslim supporter that got in trouble many times because of his crazy ways of trying to raise support for islam. Not that that's wrong, but this kid is clearly part of it, and even the president was duped into believing this.
Not to mention the clock was proven multiple times to have been removed from a case, and not actually built.
This whole thing smells, and it just doesn't sit right with me all the support and opportunities this kid has gotten just because of "muh racism", especially when it's so clear that the whole reality was bent to fit the narrative. It's just not right.

I'm not sure if it's jealousy or because I think that he's just too stupid to be receiving all of this positive attention in one big uproar.
I mean just listen to him, he sounds stupid just in the way he speaks. In the one video (I can't find it), he states that he would like to attend MIT, and by the sounds of it he doesn't even know why he'd like to go there besides the fact that they're a 'techie school'. I think he was probably pretty on the spot when he said the stuff about soldering CPUs, but it is quite possible he actually does do component soldering with ICs and such. There are plenty of kits online for learning about dinky little 4-bit CPUs that you can solder onto protoboards, so he could have been talking about one of those. I think people are being kind of mean for what could have been legitimate, or just a silly mistake in the moment.
